摘要: Fast calculation of channel state information using demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) is provided herein. Channel state information is traditionally calculated based on the channel state reference signals (CS-RS). Demodulation reference signals, which are used for channel estimation for a data channel, are transmitted at different times than CS-RS however, and so some portions of the channel state information including layer indicator (LI) and channel quality indicator (CQI) can be calculated based on the demodulation reference signals, allowing a network to adapt more quickly to changing channel conditions, without having to transmit a CS-RS. Generally, precoding matrix indicator and rank indicator, which cannot be determined based on the DM-RS, don't change as often and are more stable over time, thus do not need to be calculated as frequently as the LI and CQI.

摘要: An early termination system for blind decoding is provided to decrease the computational resources utilized when decoding the physical resources, and decrease the time spent decoding. A blind decoding priority list can be used by the mobile device to preferentially decode specific physical resource elements as it specifies the order of all the candidate physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs). When the physical resource elements are decoded, if there is no more downlink control information in that transmission time interval, the downlink control information can include a termination bit, and the mobile device, upon identifying the termination bit can cease blind decoding of the remainder candidates. In this way, the blind decoding process more quickly identifies the downlink control information, and subsequent blind decoding is halted.

摘要: Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating scheduling of uplink data using demodulation reference signal and scheduled resources. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise configuring a network device with a periodic rate of specified sounding reference signals with a periodicity using radio resource control signaling. The system can further facilitate estimating channel state information associated with a channel via which the network device communicates. The system can further facilitate transmitting an uplink grant with uplink transmission parameters to set up a physical uplink shared channel, wherein the uplink transmission parameters are determined based on the channel state information. The system can further facilitate estimating scheduling parameters based on a first estimation information associated with the physical uplink shared channel.

摘要: The gains with non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) for uplink data transmissions can be high when chosen codes are orthogonal. However, when codes are non-orthogonal, the gains can be low. NOMA can be used when there is more than one mobile device using the same resources. Since orthogonal codes cannot be possible for every length, codes which have low cross-correlation properties can be used. However, when there are a large number of mobile devices using the same resources, the cross-correlation between the codes can cause interference to the mobile devices. Reducing the gains of a NOMA system can reduce the overall throughput. Thus, transmitting data on the same resources in a NOMA can occur in spite of the interference to the UEs transmitting data on the same resources. Therefore, a non-orthogonal multiple access design for a 5G network can mitigate interference.

摘要: Facilitating improved performance based on inferred user equipment device speed for advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a system can comprise estimating a speed of a user equipment device based on a number of times that a layer indicator associated with the user equipment device changes during a defined period of time. The operations can also comprise selecting a multiple input transmission mode for a transmission to the user equipment device based on the speed of the user equipment device, resulting in a selected transmission mode. A closed loop multiple input transmission mode can be selected in response to the speed being below a defined speed. Alternatively, an open loop multiple input transmission mode can be selected in response to the speed being above the defined speed.

In dynamic spread spectrum (DSS) deployments, where NR PDSCH mapping type B is used, e.g., to allow for two NR physical downlink control channel symbols, when the NR PDSCH starts on a symbol carrying LTE CRS, the NR DMRS of the NR PDSCH is shifted to the first symbol of the NR PDSCH not carrying LTE CRS. Whether mapping type A or mapping type B, shifting the symbol containing NR DMRS facilitates the use of two DMRS symbols without colliding with LTE CRS.

摘要: Intelligent hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback can better support link adaption. Thus, in addition to the traditional HARQ feedback, which is to relay acknowledgement (ACK) and negative acknowledgement (NAK) data based on a decoding result, a new state for the HARQ feedback can be represented as “ACK+”. Consequently, ACK+ can be used to indicate to the network that a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of a current data packet is too conservative, and the user equipment (UE) is capable of supporting a more aggressive MCS.

摘要: A base station device can transmit data via multiple data channels to a single user equipment device. Each of the multiple data channels can be configured and scheduled via respective downlink control channels to the user equipment device. In an embodiment, the downlink control information and data can be processed in the transmitter via separate coding structures, and then the separate channel data can be combined for transmission to the mobile equipment. The data channels can use overlapping resource elements, and the receiver can use interference cancellation to remove interference from the subsequent data channel after decoding the data from the first data channel. In other embodiments, the data channels can be associated with different beamforming matrices, demodulation reference signal ports, constellation points and resource elements.

摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards adapting the demodulation reference signal sent in a wireless resource data block based on channel estimation performance. In general, if the demodulation reference signal received was not successfully able to be used to demodulate the resource data block, the demodulation reference signal density can be increased up to a maximum density, which costs resource elements but improves the channel estimation accuracy. If the demodulation reference signal received was able to be used to demodulate the resource data block, the demodulation reference signal density can be decreased down to minimum density, which saves resource elements for data. The network device can use HARQ ACK/NACK data (e.g., a current count or counted over a time period) to determine channel estimation performance, and/or the user equipment can recommend a demodulation reference signal density change.
