    Abstract: A backlight module includes a reflecting base, a light source, at least one 3D optical control structure, and at least one illumination adjusting structure. The light source and the 3D optical control structure are disposed on the reflecting base, and the 3D optical control structure covers the light source. Each 3D optical control structure includes two sidewalls, and at least one of the sidewalls has at least one through-hole. The illumination adjusting structure is adjacent to the sidewall having the through-hole. A position of an orthogonal projection of the through-hole to the reflecting base is A, and a position where a normal line of the sidewall passing through the through-hole intersects the reflecting base is B. An illumination adjusting section is an area between A and B. The illumination adjusting structure is disposed in the illumination adjusting section.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a light source and an optical film group. The light source is suitable for emitting a first light. The optical film group includes an optical wavelength conversion film, which is adapted to receive the first light and to convert the first light into a second light with different wavelength. The optical wavelength conversion film includes a first portion and a second portion, wherein a quantity of the first light received per unit area of the first portion of the optical wavelength conversion film is greater than a quantity of the first light received per unit area of the second portion of the optical wavelength conversion film. Furthermore, an optical wavelength conversion efficiency of the first portion of the optical wavelength conversion film with respect to the first light is smaller than an optical wavelength conversion efficiency of the second portion of the optical wavelength conversion film with respect to the first light.

    Abstract: A backlight module including a carrier plate, a plurality of light sources, at least one low reflective portion, and a modulation film is provided. The carrier plate has a carrier surface carrying the light sources while the low reflective portion is disposed on the carrier surface between an outer light source and a side edge of the carrier plate. The reflectance of the low reflective portion is less than that of the carrier surface. The modulation film is disposed above the light sources while the low reflective portion has a projection area on the modulation film. The projection area has a lower normalized transmission ratio comparing to adjacent areas along an extending direction of the side edge of the carrier plate.
