摘要: The apparatus and method for hemostasis that informs the provider as to whether the appropriate magnitude of pressure is being applied to a puncture site on a patient. A visual pulse indicator can visually convey whether or not there is proper blood flow at the puncture site based on the pulsing motion encountered by the visual pulse indicator on the puncture site. The visual pulse indicator can potentially factor in a variety of different input parameters in displaying information that is useful to providers.

摘要: An example connector for a balloon catheter assembly according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other possible things, an inlet branch, a first outlet branch in fluid communication with the inlet branch and configured to be connected to a first balloon, a second outlet branch in fluid communication with the inlet branch and configured to be connected to a second balloon, and a valve integrated the first outlet branch. The valve has a first position and a second position. The valve is configured to limit fluid flow through the valve when in the first position. Another example connector for a balloon catheter assembly and a method of inflating a balloon catheter assembly are also disclosed.

摘要: An example system for creating a lumen according to the present disclosure includes, among other possible things a balloon wound in a generally helical shape having an inner surface and an outer surface, and a support attached to at least one of the inner surface and the outer surface of the generally helical shape and constraining the tubular balloon in the generally helical shape. The balloon has a first diameter in a low-profile operating mode and the generally helical shape has a second diameter in a high-profile operating mode, and the second diameter is larger than the first diameter. Other example systems for creating a lumen and methods for creating a lumen in an artery are also disclosed.

摘要: An example vessel caliper according to the present disclosure includes a scale having a first clamp, and a slider movable relative to the scale such that a length measurement can be determined, the slider having a second clamp. Each of the first and second clamps have a spring action jaw configured to capture a catheter assembly therebetween. An example method of using the vessel caliper is also disclosed.

摘要: A method of performing angioplasty includes accessing an artery, inserting a tubular balloon into to the artery in a low-profile operating mode, the tubular balloon constrained in a generally helical shape, and forming a lumen within the generally helical shape by expanding the tubular balloon into a high-profile operating mode. A system for creating a lumen is also disclosed.

摘要: A balloon assembly (200) that can be attached to a band assembly (300) to form a hemostasis band (100) used to perform hemostasis on a puncture site (89) of a human being (90). The balloon assembly (200) can include a balloon (210) that provides for being inflated to apply pressure to the puncture site (89), one or more openings (220) that provides for the insertion of the band assembly (300), and an inlet (230) for inflating the balloon (210).
