摘要: Pulmonary artery banding device includes an inflating handing ring, to be installed around the patient's pulmonary artery, an extending tube, and an insufflating button, the extending tube connecting insufflating button to the banding inflating ring, the banding ring being configured as a C-shape hydraulic sleeve forming a support for an inflating balloon, whose external wall is formed by a thin rigid silicon layer, and whose inside wall is formed by a thin flexible silicon layer, at the apart ends of the banding ring two brims being disposed to facilitate the size banding adjustment according with the pulmonary artery caliber. The banding ring is provided with holes for passage of sutures fixating the ring on the pulmonary artery of the patient; the insufflating button being configured as a cylindrical reservoir and being provided with holes for sutures. Also a method of using the banding ring for performing a medical procedure on a patient who is an infant or neonate.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and devices for obtaining patent hemostasis of the radial artery by compressing the ipsilateral ulnar artery to increase radial artery flow. Also disclosed are methods, devices and system for minimizing radial artery occlusion when performing complex PCI procedure using transradial access and transradial catheterization using a large bore sheath. The device comprises a band having at least two inflatable bladders, at least one inflatable bladder used for applying pressure to the radial artery. and at least one inflatable bladder used for applying pressure to the ipsilateral ulnar artery.

摘要: A radial artery sheath assembly includes a cuff that is wearable around a patient's wrist and a receiver is integrated into the cuff. The cuff is inflatable to compress an incision in the patient's wrist to achieve homeostasis for stopping bleeding. A ring is removably attachable to the cuff and a radial sheath is extendable through the ring to retain the radial sheath in the incision in the user's wrist when the ring is attached to the cuff. The ring is inflatable for compressing the radial sheath in the ring to inhibit the radial sheath from being removed from the incision. A lock is coupled to the ring and the lock releasably engages the receiver in the cuff for attaching the ring to the cuff.

摘要: A radial compression band employs a substantially rigid U-like cuff that fits over a patient's arm and then snaps onto a tightening band. A movable bubble member is positioned for movement along the band separate from the attachment to the patient and is inflatable to provide pressure to an incision or the like to accomplish hemostasis. A plural bubble member version provides multiple pressure application positions.

摘要: The disclosure provides device and related methods that can be used to treat edema by applying pressure to a blood vessel such as a jugular vein to restrict flow therein, creating a local decrease in blood pressure within the jugular vein near an outlet of a lymphatic duct, causing lymph to drain from the interstitium.

摘要: Methods and devices that use a subcutaneous implant to express lymph from the lymphatic system to promote drainage, drive normal lymph flow, and avoid acute decompensated heart failure, without the requirement of an intravascular procedure or device. Embodiments include a treatment device with a subcutaneous implant dimensioned to be implanted and positioned at a thoracic duct of a subject and a controller operable to cause the implant to compress the thoracic duct to express lymph, optionally using an implantable pressure sensor, and in which the subcutaneous implant comprises a balloon or cuff that at least partially surrounds a thoracic duct, wherein, in response to a reading from the sensor indicative of inadequate lymph flow, the controller causes the implant to perform a series of transient compressions of the thoracic duct to express lymph.
