Abstract: A reinforced electrical receptacle connector has an insulative mounting bracket, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shielding plate and a shell. The insulative mounting bracket has a base and a tongue formed on the base. The shielding plate is embedded in the insulative mounting bracket and has two corner reinforcing tabs are formed on respectively on two front corners of the shielding plate. Each corner reinforcing tab has a front edge being flush with the front edge of the tongue and an outside edge being flush with one of the outside edges of the tongue. The shell accommodates the insulative mounting bracket. The front corners of the shielding plate are substantially hidden in the front corners of the tongue, which prevents inadvertent rupture at the front corners.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a shell, a first insulator, a second insulator and a blanking contact. The first insulator is disposed in the shell. The first insulator has a first insulator front end and a first insulator rear end. The second insulator is disposed in the shell and installed on the first insulator. The second insulator has a combining area. The blanking contact includes a fixing portion, a soldering portion, a contact portion and a combining portion. The fixing portion is combined with the first insulator. The soldering portion protrudes from the fixing portion toward the first insulator rear end and stretches out of the first insulator rear end. The contact portion protrudes from the fixing portion toward the first insulator front end and stretches out of the first insulator rear end. The combining portion protrudes from the contacting portion and inserts into the combining area.

Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulator and a blanking contact set. The insulator includes a tongue portion and an insulator rear end. The blanking contact set includes a plurality of blanking contacts. At least one of the blanking contacts includes a connecting portion, a contacting portion, and a soldering portion. The connecting portion is combined with the insulator. The contacting portion extends from the connecting portion toward the tongue portion and stretches out of a first surface of the tongue portion. The soldering portion extends from the connecting portion toward the insulator rear end and stretches out of the insulator rear end. A central axis of the contacting portion is spaced from a central axis of the soldering portion by an offset. The connecting portion connects the contacting portion and the soldering portion.

Abstract: A receptacle electrical connector has an insulated housing, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shielding plate and a metallic shell. The shielding plate has two connection portions formed respectively on two opposite sides of the shielding plate and each connection portion has a cutting surface. The cutting surface is formed on the connection portion, and the two cutting surfaces of the connection portions are exposed out of two opposite sides of the insulated housing. During the insert-molding processes of insulated housings, the connection beltings of metallic beltings are connected to the cutting surfaces of multiple shielding plates for simultaneously forming multiple insulated housings. Therefore, production efficiency and yield rate of the receptacle electrical connectors are enhanced.

Abstract: A receptacle electrical connector has an insulative mounting bracket, a first terminal set, a second terminal set, a shielding plate and a shell.
