    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, first and second groups of terminals, an adapting circuit board, and extension terminals. The insulated housing is received in the metallic shell and includes a base portion, upper and lower tongue portions, and a partition plate. Upper and lower plug openings are respectively formed between the partition plate and the upper portion of the metallic shell and between the partition plate and the lower portion of the metallic shell. The terminals are held in the insulated housing. The adapting circuit board is disposed at the rear of the insulated housing and includes an upper-row contact set connected to the first group of terminals and a lower-row contact set. One ends of the extension terminals are connected to the lower-row contact set, and the other ends of the extension terminals are extended to the bottom of the insulated housing.

    Abstract: A standing-type electrical receptacle connector includes a first terminal module, a second terminal module, and a grounding plate that are received in a metallic shell. The first terminal module includes a first insulated member and first receptacle terminals. The second terminal module includes a second insulated member and second receptacle terminals. The first receptacle terminals include first ground terminals, and tail portions of the first ground terminals are extending out of the first insulated member. The second receptacle terminals include second ground terminals, and tail portions of the second ground terminals are extending out of the second insulated member. The grounding plate includes legs each disposed between the corresponding tail portions, each of the legs and the corresponding tail portions are aligned along a vertical line and inserted into the same ground soldering hole of a circuit board. Therefore, the cost for soldering procedure can be reduced.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, first receptacle terminals, second receptacle terminals, first glue recess, and a first texture region. The metallic shell circularly encloses the insulated housing. The first and second receptacle terminals are held in the insulated housing. The first texture region is annularly formed on an inner wall of the metallic shell and corresponds to a periphery of the outer wall of the insulated housing. Therefore, the sealing member can attach onto the first texture region efficiently. Therefore, the sealing member does not overflow to the front portion of the receptacle cavity, and the inner gap can be sealed by the sealing member properly. Hence, the first texture region allows the sealing member to attach onto the inner wall of the shell body, and the sealing member can cover the inner gap completely to provide a reliable waterproof performance.

    Abstract: An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing, a plurality of first receptacle terminals, a plurality of second receptacle terminals, and a rear cover plate. The insulated housing is received in the receiving cavity. The first receptacle terminals and the second receptacle terminals are respectively disposed at an upper portion and a lower portion of the insulated housing. The rear cover plate includes a baffle plate and a connecting portion formed at one of two sides of the baffle plate and connected to the rear of the metallic shell. The rear cover plate is closeable and openable, so that the soldering condition between the first receptacle terminals and contacts of a circuit board can be checked when the rear cover plate is opened.
