Abstract:
A pressure bulkhead comprises a plurality of material plies arranged one above the other, wherein each material ply contains reinforcing fibers embedded in a matrix material. The reinforcing fibers, in at least one first material ply are oriented in such a manner that their longitudinal axes lie in an angle range of ±2° about a radial direction of the pressure bulkhead.
Abstract:
A pressure bulkhead of an aircraft with a fuselage shell and a pressure bulkhead disposed therein preferably in the rear region for forming a fuselage-internal pressure region, which pressure bulkhead is attached on the edge in the interior of the fuselage shell, wherein the pressure bulkhead has a lenticular cross-section and a sandwich construction that comprises a foam core sandwiched between two opposing exterior shells.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a fiber composite plastic component with integrated lightning protection. The steps include, for a positive mold, automatically laying down a ribbon-form pre-preg material or dry ribbon-form reinforcing fiber strands onto the mold. Then, automatically laying down a ribbon-form lightning protection material onto the pre-preg material or the reinforcing fiber strands. For a negative mold, the steps include automatically laying down the lightning protection material on the negative mold, then automatically laying down the pre-preg material or the dry reinforcing fiber strands onto the positioned lightning protection material. The method also includes curing the laminate construction formed with the pre-preg material and the lightning protection material to form the fiber composite component, or infiltrating the dry reinforcing fiber strands with a plastic, and subsequently curing the laminate construction formed with the infiltrated reinforcing fiber strands and the lightning protection material to form the fiber composite component.
Abstract:
A method for producing a torsion box for a structure of an airplane. The method includes providing a first component made of a fiber composite material, the first component has a first planar base having a first inner side and a first outer side, first stiffening elements on the first inner side forming a composite with the first base. A second component is provided of a fiber composite material and has a second planar base having a second inner side and a second outer side. Second stiffening elements are on the second inner side and form a composite with the second base. The method includes superimposing the first component and the second component such that the first stiffening elements lie, at least in some areas, on the second inner side and the second stiffening elements lie, at least in some areas, on the first inner side. The methods includes connecting the first stiffening elements to the second base and connecting the second stiffening elements to the first base.
Abstract:
Method and system for applying film to a plastic work piece to be cured, including providing a plastic work piece disposed on a surface of a base member, a free region remaining around the plastic work piece, an application frame having a frame housing with a frame opening and a frame edge enclosing the frame opening, and a film suitable for covering a plastic work piece during the curing thereof. Film is applied on the frame edge where the film covers the frame opening, and a lip region of the film is fastened to the frame edge. The application frame can move relative to the plastic work piece, where the plastic work piece passes through the frame opening until the frame edge, the lip region fastened thereto, is placed on the free region, wherein the film is deformed by the plastic work piece and rests against the plastic work piece.
