摘要: A device for closing a spout of a flexible container is provided. The device includes a connection tube and a sealable cap having an outer casing member with a lower, outer circumferential surface, an attachment member annularly positioned on a portion of the lower, outer circumferential surface, and an inner casing member having an inner casing sidewall and a bottom disc-shaped occlusion plate defining a cylindrical void space configured to receive a connection tube. The plate can be integrally connected to the inner casing sidewall via a thin-wall section sized to break by the insertion of an insertion edge of the connection tube. The device can also include an overcap sized to mate to the sealable cap.

摘要: A fuel efficiency degradation amount displaying device detects a tire air pressure and calculates an amount of degradation of fuel efficiency of the vehicle compared to fuel efficiency in a case that the tire air pressure is appropriate. Then the fuel efficiency degradation amount displaying device indicates not only a warning of the decrease of the tire air pressure but also the amount of the fuel efficiency degradation. Therefore the driver can recognize the amount of the degradation clearly and intuitively. As a result, it is possible to prevent drivability of the vehicle from getting worse, because the driver can adjust, knowing a relation between the tire air pressure and the fuel efficiency, the tire air pressure to the appropriate tire air pressure.

摘要: A tire condition detecting device 1 and an attaching method thereof, and a tire condition monitoring system, capable of preventing the attenuation caused by tires and wheels, of radio waves transmitted from a transmission section more effectively than before, are provided. The tire condition detecting device comprises a case 3 having an insertion part 5 inserted into a hole 13 provided in a rim 12; and a sensor and transmission section 2 contained in a case main body 4. It is attached to the rim by inserting the insertion part 5 of the case into the hole of the rim from the inside of the rim so that the case main body is arranged inside the rim, that is, on a side of the rim 12 opposite to a side on which an air chamber 15 of a tire 14 is located.

摘要: A tire condition monitoring system for a vehicle has a chassis-side transmitter/receiver and a tire-side transmitter/receiver. The tire-side transmitter/receiver measures an interval between two successive request signals of the chassis-side transmitter and controls a time point of transmission of a response signal of the tire-side transmitter/receiver based on the measured interval so that the response signal is transmitted when the tire-side transmitter/receiver is in the communication range of the chassis-side transmitter/receiver. A control unit determines a time interval of one rotation of a tire based on a vehicle speed, and drives the chassis-side transmitter/receiver to transmit the request signal at an interval set to be shorter than an interval in which the tire rotates the communication range of the chassis-side transmitter/receiver.

摘要: Using an endoscope system, a surgeon A holds an endoscope with a TV camera (hereinafter, an endoscope) and a therapeutic appliance such as forceps and carries out a surgical procedure while viewing a first monitor. A surgeon B holds a therapeutic appliance such as forceps and carries out the surgical procedure while viewing a second monitor. A video signal sent from the TV camera of the endoscope is fed to and processed by an image processing apparatus, and displayed on each of the first and second monitors. The image processing apparatus transfers the video signal sent from the endoscope to each of an image inverting circuit and a selector switch. The image inverting circuit inverts an image (laterally (to produce a mirror image), vertically, or vertically and laterally (180°)), and supplies a processed video signal to the selector switch. The selector switch selects a video signal to be supplied to each of the first and second monitors, which are display units, in response to a control signal sent from a selector. The contents of processing to be performed by the image inverting circuit and the video signal to be selected by the selector are designated using setting switches on an operation panel.

摘要: In a data receiver, pulse edges are sequentially detected from the pulse string. If a pulse which has a width equal to two cycles of the reference clock signals is detected, bit data ‘1’ is restored. If two consecutive pulses each of which has a width equal to one cycle are detected, bit data ‘0’ is restored. If a pulse width between two consecutive pulse edges is not equal to one cycle or two cycles, it is presumed that a pulse edge of an erroneous pulse is detected. If the pulse width between the pulse edge, which is presumed to correspond to the erroneous pulse, and the next pulse edge is equal to or shorter than a predetermined threshold Th, the pulse edge and the next pulse edge is invalidated.
