摘要： A changeover valve unit for a power-assisted steering system includes input and output shafts arranged for relative rotation on aligned axes, a spool valve element concentrically assembled with the input shaft to be axially shifted in response to relative rotation of the shafts, and a sleeve-like valve casing surrounding the spool valve element to cooperate with the spool valve element for controlling the supply of fluid under pressure to a hydraulic cylinder associated with the steering system. A thrust plate is rotatably coupled at its inner periphery with the output shaft and secured at its outer periphery to the valve casing thereby to prevent rotation of the valve casing and to permit axial movement of the valve casing caused by displacement of the output shaft.

摘要： An exhaust gas recirculation valve device for an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus of an internal combustion engine for an automobile, which device comprises a diaphragm mechanism mounted on a body for operating the valve device. The diaphragm mechanism has a diaphragm and has, on both sides of the diaphragm, chambers which should be connected to the respective engine ports. One of the chambers, on the side of the diaphragm facing the surface of the body, is formed by a bellows member, made of rubber material, which is held apart from the surface of the body so that the bellows is effectively insulated from the high temperature of the body caused by the high temperature exhaust gas passing through the body.

The heater vessel comprises an inner pipe, an outer pipe, and a plurality of PTC elements inserted between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The outer wall of the inner pipe is surrounded by a belt-like insulating member having a plurality of rectangular holes. The PTC elements are inserted into the rectangular holes and held in a predetermined position by the insulating member.

摘要： Disclosed is a fluid coupling which includes: a housing being used as a rotary driving member; a rotor rotatably mounted in the housing and being used as a driven member, a fluid pump having a pump chamber defined between the housing and the rotor; a fluid inlet port and a fluid outlet port; and a fluid circulation passage between the chamber and the housing, such that fluid in the pump circulates from the fluid circulation passage into the pump chamber through the inlet port and from the pump chamber through the outlet port into the fluid passage. The fluid coupling further includes: a fluid lock mechanism consisting of a cylinder bore provided in the housing such that the axis of the cylinder bore is in the radial direction of the coupling; a governor-weight sealingly and slidingly disposed in the cylinder bore; a spring for urging the governor-weight in the radially inward direction; a first opening provided at the radially inward portion of the cylinder bore, and; a second opening provided at the side wall portion of the cylinder bore. The first and second openings are provided in the fluid circulation passage which communicates the fluid inlet port with the fluid outlet port.

A cam mechanism is associated with the steering shaft assembly to conduct the axial movement of the valve member in response to rotation of the steering shaft assembly.

摘要： A flow control valve for an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus is provided with an exhaust gas pressure control means for maintaining a predetermined constant pressure of exhaust gas to be recirculated. The flow control valve is adpated to control an amount of the exahust gas to be directed to the pressure controlling means, for performing an ideal EGR operation. A detailed design of the flow control valve is provided for solving the problems which may occur during the actual use of the flow control valve.

The device includes means for allowing adjustment of the position of the diaphragm with respect to the rod and means for securing the diaphragm to the rod after said adjustment of the position of the rod is perfected. Therefore, the EGR valve which is opened at the constant vacuum level can be obtained, with a minimum number of parts requiring high accuracy.
