    摘要: A flexible unit absorbing misalignment and transmitting torque from a driving shaft to a driven shaft is provided between a pair of flanges individually provided on each of the driving shaft side and the driven shaft side, both the driving shaft and the driven shaft being hollow. A communication passage letting hollow regions of the driving shaft and the driven shaft communicate with each other to form a circulation space for a cooling fluid is provided in the flexible unit. The flow of the cooling fluid cooling a driving source driving and rotating the driving shaft from the inside is created in the circulation space. A seal portion seals between the circulation space and an outside space to prevent leakage of the cooling fluid from the circulation space to the outside space.

    摘要: A respiratory mask includes a body having an interior space that defines a plenum between the body and a face of the user when the user is wearing the mask. The respiratory mask also includes a voice transmittal feature in and contiguous with the body that has a voice transmittal membrane that is configured to vibrate in response to sound waves generated by the user such that the voice transmittal membrane transmits the sound waves from the plenum of the body to an ambient environment of the user. The voice transmittal feature thus enhances the intelligibility of a user's speech so that others may more clearly understand what the user is saying. For example, this may increase safety and efficiency in emergency response situations in which the use of a respiratory mask is required.

    摘要: A fluid control valve includes a cover portion and a body portion. Inner surfaces of the cover and the body portion define a chamber that includes an inlet and an outlet in communication with the chamber. The fluid control valve also includes a diaphragm disposed between the cover portion and the body portion. The diaphragm has a flexible member that is disposed within the chamber for controlling communication between the inlet and the outlet. The upper surface of the flexible member has a substantially smooth wall portion. The flexible member has an inverted position in which the upper surface conforms to at least a portion of the inner surface of the cover portion to define a passageway that permits communication between the inlet and the outlet. The diaphragm is configured such that the lower surface of the flexible member and a seat member on the body portion have corresponding radius of curvatures such that the flexible member conforms to and seals against the seat member when the flexible member is not in the inverted position.
