    摘要: For traffic offload via a local network, a MME may obtain from a HSS, subscription data including SIPTO related permissions defined on APN basis that indicate SIPTO prohibited, indicate SIPTO allowed excluding SIPTO via Local Network (SIPTO@LN), and/or indicate SIPTO allowed including SIPTO@LN. Then, the MME may obtain information about one or more local Gateways (GWs) capable of offloading selected traffic, such information indicating which of the one or more local GWs provides access to which Packet Data Networks (PDNs), with each PDN being identified by its associated APN. Finally, the MME may process PDN connections and/or PDN disconnections in order to support offloading of the selected traffic. The counterpart UE includes the appropriate means of hardware and/or software that is configured to support and perform SIPTO@LN.

    摘要: A method for performing inter-user equipment (UE) transfer (IUT) of collaborative session control performed by a UE in a network system based on an Internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) is provided. The method includes transmitting to an IMS network element a subscription message for requesting notification of information regarding other UE, receiving from the IMS network element a subscription acceptance message in response to the subscription message, receiving from the IMS network element a notification message comprising information regarding at least one different UE, and if a UE for transferring the collaborative session control is selected by the at least one different UE, performing a process of transferring the collaborative session control to the selected UE. A signaling overhead caused by a failure in the transfer of collaborative session control can be reduced.

    摘要: A method of performing inter-user equipment (UE) transfer (IUT) by an Internet protocol (IP) multimedia subsystem (IMS) network in an IMS-based network system is provided. The method includes receiving from a first UE a subscription message for requesting notification of state or capability information of another UE, transmitting to the first UE a subscription acceptance message in response to the subscription message, receiving from a second UE a control message comprising an IUT flag for indicating IUT enable or disable for media flows, and transmitting to the first UE a notification message comprising information on the second UE, if the IUT flag indicates IUT enable for the media flows. It is possible to decrease a signaling overhead caused by a failure of IUT of a media flow.

    摘要: The disclosed embodiments relate to a multimedia data encoding/decoding method and apparatus. In some aspects, a decoding method comprises receiving multimedia data which comprises a media area including a video data area and an audio data area; a media information area including a video track area and an audio track area respectively corresponding to the video data area and the audio data area respectively; and a menu description area including description data for displaying a menu that provides an interface between a user and media data in the media area; displaying a menu using the description data for a menu with an animation effect; and decoding a media data extracted from the media area based on the displayed menu, wherein the media information area further comprises segment metadata for searching segments of the media data included in the media area, the segment metadata having information regarding one or more segment groups which the segments are classified into, and the media information area and the menu description area are incorporated into a single file. The disclosed embodiments include a multimedia data encoding/decoding method and apparatus can construct a multi media data file including a plurality of video/audio contents and description data for a menu between a user and media data. Thus, a time taken to process and transmit the multimedia data can be reduced.
