摘要： Provided is a projection optical system. The projection optical system includes: A projection optical system comprising: a first optical part that comprises at least one optical lens, and projects and displays light beams; a second optical part that comprises an image forming element and at least one optical lens, and emits incident light beams as light beams with images; and a third optical part that comprises a light source unit and a deflector that is located between the first and second optical parts, and directs light beams emitted from the light source unit to the second optical part and directs the light beams with images emitted from the second optical part to the first optical part.

摘要： A projection display apparatus includes: an illumination optical unit which emits beams; an image display element which modulates the beams according to image information; a spatial-beam changing unit which changes spatial positions of the beams emitted from the illumination optical unit; and a uniform-beam distribution unit, disposed between the spatial-beam changing unit and the image display element, which uniformly distributes the beams. The spatial-beam changing unit includes a moveable prism, a movement of which changes the spatial positions of the beams emitted therefrom.

摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for compensating display distortion generated when the image is formed using the operational characteristic of a scanner. The method for compensating a display distortion in a display system includes: dividing a sync section where image data is output into a plurality of sections; setting a clock speed of the image data for each of the sections based on an operational characteristic of a scanner; and outputting the image data at a different clock speed for each divided section, the different clock speed reflecting a set clock speed for each divided section.
