摘要: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems determine that an indication that a received message was sent in response to another message is present in the received message, parse a stored message, in response to the indication being present, for at least a partial match between a subject of the received message and contents of a subject of the stored message, and for at least a partial match between sender and recipient participants of the received message and sender and recipient participants of the stored message, and display the received message as grouped with the stored message. A further exemplary feature includes parsing text of the received message for text that is redundant of text of the stored message, determining that a minimum threshold of consecutive matching characters has been reached, and displaying the received message with the consecutive matching characters at least partially hidden from view.

摘要: Stationery templates for electronic messages are provided in an electronic messaging system. For one embodiment, a user can select from a list of categories and within each category is a set of one or more stationery templates from which a user can choose. The user may edit the stationery template. The user can also create custom stationery and share it with other users. Upon selection or creation of a stationery template, the user is presented with a formatted electronic message and can add, remove, or edit text content or replace media content. Alternatively, a stationery template can be changed or added to the electronic message after the user has begun composing and editing the text content. The content and format of the text and media components are carried over into the new template. When the message is sent, it is saved and transmitted in a format such that it can be rendered to look the same at the receiving machine.

摘要: A stored order system is used with a shopping cart application for an electronic commerce site. The items of each stored order are saved together, which is an advantage when a main item and accessories are combined in an order. Additionally, a stored order can be E-mailed to another person. The E-mail message allows the recipient to purchase the items of the stored order.

摘要: Deep linking to a URL of a download is obviated by the generation of a dynamic symbolic system link. When a user is at a download page, the HTML source for the displayed download button does not contain the URL of the download site. Selection of the button sends as form values the product ID and a session ID to the server which generates a dynamic link. This link is returned to the browser to redirect it to the download site. The link is further set to expire after the session so that, even if the link is captured, after expiration it will be unable to reach the download site.
