These dyes are suitable for dyeing and printing polyamide materials. The dyes are distinguished by their excellent fastness properties, especially good lightfastness. They have good covering power; produce level dyeings; and have good fastness to washing, water, perspiration, alkali, acid, diffusion and rubbing. Strong yellow, yellowish brown, reddish brown, dark brown or olive brown shades are obtained.

The invention also relates to the manufacture of these dyes by metallization and to their use for dyeing polyamide, in particular leather.
