    摘要: The invention relates to a multilayer photographic element comprising a reflective support wherein the color record 1 adjacent to the support comprises at least one light sensitive layer and a non-light sensitive dye-forming interlayer; and wherein color record 2 above said color record 1 comprises at least one light sensitive layer and at least two non-light sensitive dye-forming interlayers and wherein color record 3 comprises at least one light sensitive layer and a non-light sensitive dye-forming interlayer; an optional UV dye containing interlayer and a top overcoat; and wherein each interlayer is completely or substantially scavenger free, silver halide grains comprising greater than 90% silver chloride, and wherein the reciprocity characteristics of the silver halide grains are such that for a separation exposure of 1 microsecond and 0.4 sec, each color record develops to a density of at least 2.0 within a log exposure range of 1.2 or less relative to the exposure point producing a density 0.04 above Dmin.

    摘要: The invention is generally accomplished by forming a translucent display material comprising a substrate and sensitized layers wherein said substrate comprises a paper that has a light transmission rate of greater than 17 percent. It is preferred that the paper have a basis weight of less than 120 grams per square meter that is resin-coated on both sides. The paper of the invention when exposed and developed has a difference between maximum density and minimum density of greater than 2.5. The sensitized layers prior to imaging comprise at least one layer comprising cyan dye-forming coupler, at least one layer comprising magenta dye-forming coupler, and at least one layer comprising yellow dye-forming coupler. In preferred forms, the paper has a basis weight of between 70 and 100 grams per square meter for a balance of translucence and strength. The couplers preferably are present in the following amounts: cyan coupler greater than 0.6 grams per square meter, magenta coupler greater than 0.6 grams per square meter, and yellow coupler in an amount greater than 0.6 grams per square meter.

Three types of such surfactants that have been identified are as follows:Type A--Surfactant comprising 6 to 22 carbon atom hydrophobic tail with one or more attached hydrophilic chains comprising at least 8 oxyethylene and/or glycedyl ether groups that may or may not be terminated with a negative charge such as a sulfate group.Type B--Block oligomeric surfactants comprising hydrophobic polyoxypropylene blocks (A) and hydrophilic polyoxyethylene blocks (B) joined in the manner of A--B--A, B--A--B, A--B, (A--B).sub.n .tbd.G.tbd.(B--A), or (B--A).sub.n .tbd.G.tbd.(A--B).sub.n, where G is a connective organic moiety and n is between 1 and 3.Type C--Sugar surfactants, comprising between one to three 6 to 22 carbon atom hydrophobic tail with one or more attached hydrophilic mono or oligosaccharidic chains that may or may not be terminated by a negatively charged group such as a sulfate group.The preferred colloid chemical criterion of the photographic dispersion material in this invention is that they are formed with particle diameters between about 5 nm and 100 nm that have been prepared by precipitation from solution by a solvent and/or pH shift.
