摘要: A first analysis based on at least a subset of collected health metrics of a monitored resource is performed at a health monitoring service. If the first analysis indicates that the probability that the monitored resource is in an unhealthy state is above a threshold, a mitigation action that includes directing at least some of the workload away from the monitored resource is implemented. In addition, a remediation analysis of the monitored resource is started to determine, using at least one additional health metric that was not examined in the first analysis, whether a longer-term remediation action is to be initiated.

摘要: Connectivity between a radio-based application pipeline processing server and a control plane of a provider network is verified. Based on requests received at the control plane, a first isolated request handler, a second isolated request handler and an offloading manager are launched at the server. The offloading manager causes a first network function for which a request is received from the first request handler to be executed at a first network function accelerator of the server, and a second network function for which a request is received from the second request handler to be executed at a second network function accelerator of the server.

In one embodiment, a determination is made to add coverage to a radio-based network via a radio unit. An unmanned vehicle carrying the radio unit as a payload is instructed to travel to a particular location. The unmanned vehicle is instructed to deliver the radio unit to the particular location. The radio unit is activated to add the coverage to the radio-based network.

摘要: Techniques are described for a cloud provider to provide a managed experience related to the use of virtual networks and subnets to logically group user computing resources deployed at provider substrate extensions. A cloud provider enables users to create virtual network templates used when deploying computing resources at provider substrate extensions, where such virtual network templates may include various networking, security, and other configurations to be applied to network traffic and other activity of resources deployed within an associated virtual network. Once a virtual network template is defined, a user can use the template as the basis to launch resources into the virtual network and, by extension, into provider substrate extensions associated with the virtual network. Upon receiving such a request, the provider network can manage the creation and configuration of underlying subnets, route tables, and other resource, as needed, at each of the relevant provider substrate extensions.

摘要: Methods and apparatus that allow clients to establish sub private networks as resources within private networks on a provider network. A sub private network may be owned and controlled by a different entity than the owner of its parent private network.A parent private network controls access to its sub private networks, and each sub private network also controls access to its resources. This enables a layered topology in which a parent private network may establish access control rules for its sub private networks; the sub private networks may supplement the access control according to their specific needs. Sub private networks may share resources of their parent private network, and a sub private network may allow or restrict access to its resources by its parent private network, by its sibling private networks, and/or by its own sub private network(s).

摘要: At a radio-based application pipeline processing server at which a portion of a distributed unit (DU) of a radio-based application is implemented, a particular networking hardware device is selected from among several devices (which include least one device incorporated within a network function accelerator card and at least one device which is not part of an accelerator card) for transmission of at least a portion of mid-haul traffic to a centralized unit (CU). The mid-haul traffic is transmitted to the CU via the selected device. At least a portion of front-haul traffic is transmitted to a radio unit (RU) via a networking hardware device incorporated within a network function accelerator card of the server.
