Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for automated packetless network reachability analysis are disclosed. An analysis is performed of network configuration data for a network comprising a host computer. Based at least in part on the analysis, one or more ports at the host computer that are reachable from another computer are determined. Based at least in part on the analysis, one or more routes to the one or more ports are determined. A report is generated that is descriptive of the one or more ports and the one or more routes.

Abstract: Techniques for HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) POST method request translation are described. A router of a Content Distribution Network (CDN) receives an HTTP POST method request seeking to obtain a resource and sends the request to a request translation engine. The request translation engine, based on the request, generates a corresponding HTTP GET method request and sends it back to the router, which obtains a response object from an origin server or from one or more levels of cache implemented by the CDN. The response object is passed back via a response message to the router, which sends the response message back to the request translation engine. The request translation engine, in turn, sends the response message back to the router, which sends the response message back to the originating client.

Abstract: A forwarding engine of a fleet of forwarding engines forwards packets received from outside a provider network via a direct physical link to a resource within the provider network. A virtual router of a fleet of virtual routers obtains routing metadata from a client-side networking device outside the provider network via a routing information exchange protocol and transmits the routing metadata to the forwarding engine, which uses the metadata to forward the packets. In response to a first trigger, the number of forwarding engines in the fleet is modified. In response to a second trigger, the number of virtual routers in the fleet is modified.

Abstract: Systems and method for generating and managing certificate authorities. For instance, a certificate service may provide one or more user interfaces for creating certificate authorities, such as a root certificate authority, a subordinate certificate authority, and/or an intermediate certificate authority. For example, a user may use a user device to create a certificate hierarchy. The certificate service may also provide one or more user interfaces for issuing certificates using the certificate authorities. One or more computing resources may then use the end-entity certificates issued from the certificate authority hierarchy for authentication and/or encryption. For security purposes, the certificate authority may also allow the user to set policies representing users that are able to access and/or utilize the certificate authorities to perform actions, such as issuing certificates. The certificate service may also generate audit reports indicating certificates that are created using the certificate authorities.
