The method includes processing a data set containing transmission data associated with the e-mail so as to determine one or more steps in a propagation history of the e-mail. The transmission data typically include identifiers of a sender of the e-mail and of one or more recipients of at least a portion of the e-mail. The method also includes displaying the propagation history. Preferably, processing the data set includes analyzing transmission information embedded in text of the e-mail.

摘要： A method for document annotation includes providing a contextual framework extending over multiple electronic documents. Annotations are input to a computer by a user with respect to two or more of the documents, while the user views the documents on a computer screen. Each of the annotations is stored together with respective context information in a memory of the computer, the context information including multiple fields defined by the framework. The annotations are sorted with respect to the two or more documents according to one or more of the multiple fields of the respective context information, and the sorted annotations are output for viewing by the user.

摘要： Systems and methods of mobile information discovery are provided in which a mobile device is used which has a display means and an input means. A server manages an information request sent from the mobile device. The information request is input once into the mobile device and is capable of being sent singly or in parallel to a choice of multiple information discovery channels managed by the server. The multiple information discovery channels can include search means, messaging means and discussion means. The server includes storage means for the results of the information request and means for returning the results to the mobile device. The mobile device has connection means for connection to the server wherein the connection means supports a persistent connection to a network.

摘要： System for the visualization of a large tree structure in which the selection of a center object (40) amongst the objects of the large tree structure enables n levels of descendants from the center object to be visualized on a screen together with the center object, the system has a visualization control in computer memory enabling the objects of a given level corresponding to the children of a parent object of the immediate higher level to be visualized in a fan-shaped area centered around the parent object. A scrollbar associated with the parent object enables all the children of a parent object to be scrolled in a fan. Fan control buttons on the screen enable the aperture of the fans to be modified so that a variable number of children can be visualized in each fan.

摘要： A shared feed reader for multiple users and a method for sharing feed reading are provided which provide group collaboration features. The shared feed reader includes a server including a processor hosting the shared feed reader for remote access by multiple users, and a user interface for each of the multiple users including an aggregator of web feeds subscribed to by the user. The shared feed reader includes: a mechanism for defining a group of users, wherein web feeds subscribed to by users in the group are exposed to the other users in the group; and a mechanism for sharing a read status of a web feed post across the group, wherein the read status indicates which users have read the post. The shared feed reader may also include a mechanism for receiving a meta-feed of meta-posts, wherein meta-feeds and meta-posts relate to activities of users in the group on shared feeds and posts.

摘要： A method and system are provided for browsing the elements in a display. The method includes displaying a first set of elements in a first browse line with the first set of elements ordered in a total or partial order in the first browse line. An input of a selection of an element from the first set of elements is received and the method includes displaying a subsequent set of elements with an association with the selected element. The association of the subsequent set of elements may have no order between the elements, a partial order, or a total order. The elements have content and metadata for determining if they belong to one or more of the sets of elements. An element from the subsequent set of elements can be selected to display a further subsequent set of elements. In this way, browsing can be achieved through groups of associated elements.
