This presents a reduction of the design effort, an improvement of robustness and resistance to different ambient conditions with no auxiliary energy requirement for maintaining the securing action for the parking brake pawl and also minimal releasing forces for releasing the parking brake securing.

Mobile and hence susceptible cablings to the additional switching element, which were hitherto necessary, are eliminated.
