    摘要: The present invention discloses a filtered cable harness connector assembly 10 including a multiterminal connector 12 having at least one row of terminals 18 therein terminated to conductors 28 of a cable 26, at least one filter subassembly 30 secured to the conductors 28 rearward of the multiterminal connector 12 and means covering the connector 12 and subassembly 30. The cable conductors are arranged in at least one planar array 29 and extend rearwardly from the connector 12 in a given lateral spacing. One filter subassembly 30 is associated with each at least one array of conductors. The subassembly 30 has plurality of contact members 32, a purality of filter members 58, means 50 housing the contact members 32 and filter members 58, and bus means 46. The plurality of contact members 32 have first and second contact portions 34, 40, the first contact portions 34 extending from a conductor proximate surface 52 of the housing means 50 and are appropriately spaced and adapted to become electrically connected with respective ones of the conductors 28 of the at least one array 29. The housing means 50 includes a plurality of filter receiving apertures 54 along a selected face thereof, and have the second contact portions 40 paired with third contact portions 44 and are exposed along respective bottom aperture surfaces. Filter member 58 are disposed in respective ones of the apertures and are electrically joined to respective pairs of said second and third contact portions 40, 44. Bus means extends from and commons third contact portions 44 and includes at least one ground engageable portion 48.

    摘要: A damper for controlling fluid flow includes a main body, a stator and a rotor. The stator may be carried by the main body and include at least one blade having a predetermined shape. The rotor may be moveably connected to the stator and carried by the main body. The predetermined shape of the at least one stator blade and the at least one rotor blade may form a converging-diverging nozzle, and the stator and the rotor may be carried by the main body so that fluid flows through the main body substantially perpendicular thereto. The opened position may be defined as the at least one stator blade being aligned with the at least one rotor blade, and the closed position may be defined as the at least one stator blade being offset from the at least one rotor blade.

    摘要: The filtered tap connector 10 includes a body member 12, having a pair of contact members 40 secured therein; a pusher member 50 receivable into a large recess 18 of the body member 12, the pusher member 50 having wire engaging surfaces 52 adapted to engage portions of wires 92 and urge them into electrical engagement with contact members 40; a pair of electrical components 60 of the type having a pair of spaced exterior electrodes 62, 64 disposed within cavities 26 of the body member 12 such that one of the component electrodes 62 is engaged with the corresponding contact member 40; and a biasing member 70 securable to the body member 12 remote from the large recess 18 and including a pair of arm portions 82 for engaging respective ones of the second 64 of the pair of electrodes 60, the biasing member 70 including a conductive path extending from component engaging surfaces 84 to an exposed outer surface portion and means for maintaining the biasing member 70 in the closed position. A pair of wire receiving channels 24 extend through the body member 12, along an inner-most surface of the large recess 18. Wire receiving sections 46 of the contact members 40 project outwardly into the large recess 18 transverse of the wire receiving channels 24. The biasing member 70 is movable between open and closed positions with respect to the body member 12.

    摘要: An electrical connector is provided which has both transient suppression and filtering means for protecting electronic equipment from energy generated by RFI, EMI, EMP and ESD. The connector is comprised of a conductive housing member having an axially extending passageway therethrough, and a circuit assembly disposed therein, the circuit assembly including a transient suppression subassembly and a pi-network filter assembly in electrical engagement with a plurality of electrical terminals. The transient suppression subassembly is comprised of a dielectric substrate having conductive path disposed thereon, a plurality of apertures extending therethrough for receiving electrical terminal members and preferably a bidirectional diode electrically connected to the terminal members and conductive path means and grounding means. The filter assembly, comprised of capacitor and inductor members is electrically engageable with the terminal members and ground. The connector is further provided with sealing members to provide protection from the environment.
