Abstract:
A mobile multiple torch assembly suitable for use in recreational applications such as patios, decks, or a variety of outdoor settings that allows greater control over the amount of light, heat and emissions and can more readily be moved to different locations, and that optionally and preferably includes safety features intended to shut-off the flow of flammable gas in the event a flame is not detected or the torch assembly tips over.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a cut guide including a locking area, an alignment guide, and a connect mechanism to connect the cut guide to the alignment guide, wherein the connect mechanism includes a cone lock connect mechanism configured to engage with the cut guide locking area.
Abstract:
A joint alignment method comprises using imaging data of at least a portion of a leg to create a leg model, wherein the leg model includes a femur having medial and lateral condyles and a tibia having tibial plateaus that are configured to engage the medial and lateral condyles at a knee joint, displaying an image of the leg model for manipulation by a user, locating a pivot point within one of the medial or lateral condyles, and rotating, in the displayed image, the tibia with respect to the femur, about the pivot point, to obtain a desired knee joint articulation in a specified plane.
Abstract:
A process for exporting functions of a dynamic link library to an executable program on a computer provides a dynamic link library module adapted to export a plurality of desired functions, with each of the desired functions having a unique identification. The dynamic link library module includes a dispatching function adapted to recognize the unique identification each of the desired functions and export the desired function for execution by the program. There is also provided a look-up table for the executable program having therein a listing for each of the desired functions and unique identifications. The process includes loading the dynamic link library module with the program and calling the desired function by passing the desired function identification from the program to the dispatching function. Thereafter, the desired function is exported from the dynamic link library module to the program.
Abstract:
A pedal actuated brake system is provided for retrofitting onto a multi-speed bicycle so that back pedaling applies the brakes. A decoupler disengages the front chain sprocket from the crank when reverse-rotated to prevent application of the brakes when the bike backs up. The system may be used in addition to or in place of the existing hand brakes.
Abstract:
A canopy apparatus is provided for use in combination with a conventional child's crib. The canopy apparatus comprises a frame including a plurality of sides, a plurality of support members interconnecting two of said plurality of sides and a cover secured to the frame and supported by the support members. The canopy is mounted on and secured to an upper rail of one side wall of the crib by at least one pivot clamp and may be retained in a closed position over the crib by at least one retaining clamp.
Abstract:
A feeler gauge and alignment device comprises a first outer shim having a first end, a second end, and an alignment aperture disposed between the first end and the second end, a second outer shim having a first end, a second end, and an alignment aperture disposed between the first end and the second end, and one or more inner shims disposed between the first outer shim and the second outer shim, each of the one or more inner shims having a first end, a second end, and an alignment aperture disposed between the first end and the second end. The first outer shim, the second outer shim, and the one or more inner shims are rotatably coupled about the first ends.
