    摘要: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), an Evolved Node-B (eNB) and methods for communication are generally described herein. An UE may be configurable to operate as an eRelay UE. The eRelay UE may be configured to operate as a relay between an eNB and an eRemote UE. The eRelay UE may receive, from the eRemote UE, a message that includes an identifier of the eRemote UE for paging of the eRemote UE. The eRelay UE may determine whether a first paging message from the eNB includes the identifier of the eRemote UE. If it is determined that the first paging message includes the identifier of the eRemote UE, the eRelay UE may transmit, to the eRemote UE, a second paging message to page the eRemote UE. The second paging message includes the identifier of the eRemote UE.

    摘要: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for facilitating vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications with user equipment (UE). In some embodiments, processing circuitry a communication network system may receive a registration request message from a UE indicating a V2X Radio Access Technology (RAT) configuration supported by the UE. The processing circuitry may retrieve authorization information from a Unified Data Management (UDM) repository and apply a policy control function (PCF) to the authorization information and the V2X RAT configuration specified by the UE to determine whether the UE has been authorized to communicate using the indicated V2X RAT configuration. In response to determining that the UE is authorized to communicate using the indicated V2X RAT configuration, the processing circuitry may transmit V2X service authorization parameters corresponding to the indicated V2X RAT configuration to a Radio Access Network (RAN) base station servicing the UE.

    摘要: One or more techniques of authorizing vehicle-to-everything (V2X) in a wireless network are set forth herein. In one example, during an initial registration procedure or an attach procedure, a UE includes its fifth generation (5G) V2X capability in a Non Access Stratum (NAS) message to a Mobility Management Entity (MME) or an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF). The MME or the AMF stores this information and determines whether the UE is capable of or authorized to use V2X communication subscription information received from a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) or a Unified Data Management (UDM). If the UE is authorized, the MME or the AMF includes the V2X services authorized in a message from the MME or the AMF to an Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN) or a Next Generation Radio Access Network (NG RAN).

The method can include at least generating a handover request including an indication indicating a handover reason of no presence of quality of service (QoS) flow for a voice signal to the UE; receiving a handover command generated by an access and mobility management function (AMF) to transfer the UE from the 5GS to the EPS based on the handover request; transmitting the handover command to the UE for the UE to establish a connection with the EPS; and after the flow of the voice signal has terminated, reestablishing a connection with the UE to reconnect the UE to the 5GS, wherein the connection with the BS is re-established based on a target ID of the BS.

    摘要: An apparatus for use in a serving gateway user plane (SGW-U) of an evolved packet core (EPC) of a wireless communication network is disclosed. The apparatus comprises one or more processors configured to process a downlink (DL) data signal comprising a DL data packet for a user equipment (UE) in the network, buffer the DL data packet in the DL data signal and identify a serving gateway control plane (SGW-C) associated with the SGW-U that serves the UE, when the UE is in idle mode. The one or more processors is further configured to provide an SGW-U DL data notification message to the SGW-C, generated selectively based on a priority of the received DL data signal, in order to inform the SGW-C about the availability of DL data for the UE.
