    摘要： Improved organophotoreceptor comprises an electrically conductive substrate and a photoconductive element on the electrically conductive substrate, the photoconductive element comprising: (a) a polymeric charge transport material having the formula where n and m are each a distribution of integers, and the n units of R1—Si—X1—Ar1 and m units of R2—Si—X2—Ar2—X3-Z form either a random, an alternative, or a block copolymer; R1 and R2 comprise, each independently, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, a heterocyclic group, or an aromatic group; X1, X2, and X3 comprise, each independently, a bond or a linking group; A1 and A2 are each a terminal group; Ar1 and Ar2 comprise, each independently, an aromatic group; and Z comprises a functional group; and (b) a charge generating compound. Corresponding electrophotographic apparatuses, imaging methods, and methods of preparing the polymeric charge transport material are described.

    摘要： A photoreceptor with good mechanical and physical properties is provided with an overcoat layer comprising a copolymer of an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer wherein the weight percent of the α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic-acid is at least 25% up to 99% of the copolymer. The copolymer may comprise an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer wherein the copolymer has an acid value of at least 150 mg KOH/g the copolymer. The copolymer may be present in a blend with a second polymer or copolymer comprised of units derived from a second α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer that is different from the an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or the α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The copolymer or the copolymer blend may be present in a layer that is crosslinked or crosslinkable, the crosslinking being effected through a distinct crosslinking agent that reacts with group(s) on the an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or the α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer.
