    摘要: A system for measuring the position of an in vivo radio device is disclosed. The system comprises the in vivo radio device administered into a living organism, a plurality of ex vivo radio devices disposed outside of the living organism, and a position measuring device. The in vivo radio device includes a transmitter for transmitting a vital information signal or a position measuring signal. Each of the ex vivo radio devices includes a receiver for receiving the vital information signal or the position measuring signal. The position measuring device includes a position measuring unit for measuring the position of the in vivo radio device based on receiving characteristics of the vital information signal or the position measuring signal received by the ex vivo radio devices.

The interference canceller includes a radiated noise predictor which predicts the radiated noise component in the received signal based on the radiated noise from the electronic equipment and generates a pseudo interference signal accordingly, and an adder which cancels the radiated noise component in the received signal by the pseudo interference signal.

    摘要: The invention relates to a high sensitivity receiver installed outdoors which may be used in a base station of a mobile communication system, for example. A received radio frequency signal is converted into a signal in a desired frequency band by a reception bandpass filter RXF3, is subject to a low noise amplification to a desired level by a low noise reception amplifier LNA4, and the amplified signal is converted into an optical signal by a laser diode LD5. RXF3, LNA4 and LD5 are confined in a heat shielding box. LD5 is cooled by cooling means to the order of critical temperature where RXF3, for example, assumes a superconducting state, whereby the dynamic range is increased and stabilized.

An array antenna comprising a plurality of antenna elements A-1–A-4 spaced at intervals (equal to or less than a quarter of a wavelength) that provides a supergain is used.     摘要: A mobile communication base station determines the oncoming direction of a radio wave with a simple arrangement and transmits a narrow angle beam in this direction. Received signals from a pair of wide angle beam antennae 21-1 and 21-2 having an equal configuration and a common orientation and which are located close to each other are fed to a direction finder receiver 22 and a communication receiver 15. By utilizing the fact that the both received signals have a coincident amplitude, a phase difference between the received signals is detected. The oncoming direction of the received radio wave (or the direction of a mobile station) is determined on the basis of the phase difference. A beam switcher 12 is controlled so as to connect a transmitter 13 to a narrow angle beam antenna (one of 11-1 to 11-4) which is directed in the oncoming direction thus determined.
