Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition comprising a biologically pure culture of Bacillus spp. strain NRRL B-67746 and mutants of that strain having all the identifying characteristics of the strain. The present invention also provides a method of promoting plant growth, wherein the method comprises applying such strain or mutants to the plant, to a part of the plant and/or to a locus of the plant.
