摘要： A multi-function lighting assembly provides multiple vehicle lighting functions (e.g., rear vehicle tail light and fog light) using a single printed circuit board substrate having mini or micro chip scale package LEDs or their unpackaged LED dies. LEDs for respective ones of the different lighting functions are separately controlled. LEDs controlled for respective functions can be interspersed, or disposed in different areas of LEDs having the same lighting function. A layer of optic components is disposed relative to the outputs of the LEDs and has different optic components for the LEDs of the respective lighting functions (e.g., collimator optics over LEDs controlled to provide a bright concentrated light output, and a diffuser over the LEDs controlled to provide a diffused light output). The multi-function lighting assembly can be employed as a universal board for seamless and convenient integration into various rear lamps having specific inner tail lenses.

摘要： A vehicle lighting device provides two or more lighting functions using the same exit surface of a light guide panel. A first lighting function is a vehicle lighting function such as a rear tail light function or rear combination lamp function (e.g., brake signal, turn signal, and backup light) provided by a first light source comprising a light emitting diode (LED) light source inputted at an edge surface of the light guide panel. At least one more lighting function is implemented by a second light source outputting light toward a rear surface of the light guide panel and controlled to operate in accordance with one or more second light functions including one or more of: at least part of another vehicle lighting function, and a display including one or more display elements presenting at least one of: a designated pattern, a symbol, a pictogram, and an animation.

摘要： An ambient lighting system for automobiles configured to illuminate a passenger compartment, comprises: an optical system in turn comprising: a plurality of RGB LED light sources; a structural support on which the light sources are placed; and a contact surface on which a user can interact, and through which light rays can exit. The ambient lighting system also includes: a control unit configured to control the RGB LED light sources in order to present light animations; and a touch sensor configured to detect touch of the contact surface in a defined region, which is configured to define, along the optical system at least one soft key. The ambient lighting system further includes: a voice command recognition system electronically connected to the control unit and configured to recognize voice commands; and a projector configured to project an image, such as a symbol and/or logo, on the contact surface.
