摘要: The present invention relates to a device and a method for monitoring an access to a patient, in particular a vascular access in extracorporeal blood treatment, in which a patient's blood is withdrawn from the patient via an arterial conduit and is returned to the patient via a venous conduit. In the device according to the present invention and in the method according to the present invention, an alternating voltage signal, relative to a common ground potential, is coupled in and out of the arterial and venous conduits, and the blood flowing through the arterial and venous conduits is at ground potential. In this way, disturbances, which can be attributed particularly to movements of the conduits, are reduced.

摘要: A disposable receptacle unit for solutions is described, in particular for solutions used in calibrating sensors for measurement of physiologically relevant parameters. The receptacle is a disposable blister pack for a single use that includes several chambers to hold solutions. Each chamber is connected to a sample channel by an outlet channel sealed by a sealing element. The sensors for measurement of physiological parameters are preferably part of the receptacle unit. To calibrate the sensors, the calibration solutions in the chambers are metered into the sample channel after opening the corresponding sealing elements. After the treatment, the receptacle unit is discarded together with the sensors.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device for creating a vascular access for extracorporeal blood treatment including an electrically conductive puncture needle with a proximal endpiece, a distal endpiece, and a base body made of electrically non-conductive material into which the distal endpiece is inserted. In a properly arranged vascular access, the base body, including an electrically conductive contact element, lies on the skin of the patient, when the puncture needle is located within the vessel of the patient. A disconnection or dislocation is detected by the impedance between the electrically conductive puncture needle and the electrically conductive contact element being measured and compared to a limit value. If the impedance measured is within predetermined limits, this indicates a properly arranged vascular access. A disconnection or dislocation of the puncture needle leads to a strong variation in the impedance.
