Abstract:
The present invention relates to an emergency notification system where indicators are mounted on or in a building in such a way that optical or thermal signals emitted from the indicators form a time-variant indication detectable outside the building of an emergency event taking place inside the building. Sensors detecting a predetermined sound are mounted inside the building and are each connected to a nearby indicator. When a sensor makes a detection, it sends event information to its associated indicator which will prompt the indicator to emit a first optical or thermal signal. Based on a signal from a timer connected to the indicator, a property of the first signal will change after a certain time has passed, thereby providing the time-variant indication.
Abstract:
A method for improving audio experience for a user of an audio device is provided. The method includes establishing a communication channel between the audio device and a remote client; detecting a peripheral audio device in the vicinity of the audio device; establishing a temporary communication channel between the peripheral audio device and the remote client; and transferring, via the temporary communication channel, audio data between the peripheral audio device and the remote client.
Abstract:
A method for audio calibration of an audio device is provided. The method comprises: registering, by a microphone, a representation of an audio signal; processing, by a data processing unit, the registered representation of the audio signal into feedback image data; displaying on a display, the feedback image data; capturing, by a camera, the feedback image data displayed on the display; altering a setting affecting audio of the audio device based on the feedback image data captured by the camera. A system for audio calibration of an audio device is further provided.
Abstract:
A physical access control system, PACS, (100) comprises at least one reader (103) and a method performed comprises a number of actions that begin with obtaining a first indication that the at least one reader (103) requires reader configuration information. In response to the first indication, the control unit obtains the required reader configuration information. A protocol (108, 110) with which the at least one reader (103) is capable of communicating with a control unit (101) is determined and the required reader configuration information is then interpreted into protocol specific data. Using the determined protocol, the control unit (101) then transmits the protocol specific data to the at least one reader (103).

Abstract:
A method and system for tracking objects in a defined area compares image data of a detected object to profiles of persons that have entered the defined area to find the best match and connect the profile of the best match to the detected object. Identification profiles of persons that have been identified, by presenting their credentials, when entering the defined area are registered as candidates and are later matched with objects detected in the defined area. The system and method use the physical access control system of the defined area to reduce the number of candidates for the detected objects to the most likely candidates. The processing time and need for resources of the object tracking in the defined area are thereby reduced.
