Abstract:
The tool to provide anonymous data in response to a request for information is configured to receiving a request for information relating to a population of interest from a user; determining criteria associated with the population of interest, wherein the criteria define an individual representative of the population of interest; determining a characteristic of the individual within one or more categories; classifying the characteristic of the individual into a cluster, the cluster comprising a subset of all possible outcomes for the category; classifying a plurality of individuals from a database into clusters based on the one or more categories; determining a subset of the plurality of individuals that are similar to the individual representative of the population of interest based on the clusters; transforming the characteristics of the individuals in the subset to generate anonymous data responsive to the request for information; and providing the anonymous data to the user.
Abstract:
Anonymously providing purchasing analytics associated with customer to a website while the customer is accessing the website. Specifically, a financial institution, having access to a customer's transactional data, can analyze the data to determine analytical purchasing data. Once the customer authenticates themselves at a financial institution website, a networked application or the like, an anonymous cookie that is configured to identify the analytical purchasing data is generated and stored in the web browser cache. In response to the customer using the device to access a website that displays advertisements, the anonymous cookie is retrieved from the web browser cache and the analytical purchasing data is provided to the website. In specific embodiments of the invention, the website uses the analytical purchasing data of the customer to determine which of the plurality of advertisements are to be displayed to the customer while they visit the website.
Abstract:
Targeted electronic advertisements are delivered to a website user/customer by implementing anonymous cookies that serve to identify a customer's overall spending trends and/or preferences. In response to a financial institution customer authenticating themselves at a financial institution website or the like, an anonymous cookie is generated and stored in the customer's web browser cache that includes a unique identifier associated with the customer and the spending trends data associated with the customer's spending trends. In response to the customer using the device to access a website that displays advertisements, the anonymous cookie is retrieved, the unique code prompts a call-back to the financial institution for retrieval and communication of the spending trend data and the data is used to determine which of the plurality of advertisements are to be to displayed to the customer while they visit the website.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for providing advertisements to recommenders for network diffusion to a cluster or group of individuals associated with the recommender. In this way, advertisement effectiveness may be identified by presented to a single customer or recommender, and that recommender diffusion the advertisement data across his/her cluster of friends. In this way, the invention provides a means of delivering advertisements to appropriate recommenders for diffusion throughout a group of individuals. A network and recommender may be identified based on diffusion using transaction history, coincident mapping, and/or social network information. In this way, it is appreciated that there may be a greater advertisement value to present the advertisement to the recommender then allowing the advertisement to diffuse through the cluster.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for providing network diffusion convergence and divergence analysis. Thus identifying the convergence of a network diffusion model and subsequent divergence of the diffusion back to normal spend standards. The invention creates a repository of spend data for a period of time and for a specific category of purchases. Using geospatial information identifies a group within the repository and an influencer based on an inferred relationship and degree influence. In this way, the invention provides a means of delivering to the influencer for diffusion throughout a group of individuals. The system subsequent tracks the duration of convergence, initial divergence, and complete divergence. This data is then utilized to determine influencer and indirect delivery effectiveness.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for initiating presentation of a rebate associated with a transaction. An exemplary apparatus is configured to: determine a user executed a first transaction qualifying for a first offer; determine a first rebate associated with the first transaction; apply the first rebate to the user's account; initiate presentation of the first rebate on a user interface; determine the user executed a second transaction qualifying for a second offer; determine a second rebate associated with the second transaction, wherein the second rebate is not applied to the user's account; and initiate presentation of the second rebate on the user interface.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for enabling a user to determine whether a transaction qualifies for an offer. An exemplary apparatus is configured to: receive information associated with a transaction; receive information associated with an offer, the offer enabling a user to receive a discount or rebate on a qualifying transaction; and initiate presentation of an indicator indicating whether the transaction qualifies for the offer.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for anonymizing a user utilizing oblivious transfer. In this way, the invention establishes a common index to identify members of a population sample, anonymizes the identities of sample members to each party, and exchanges statistics and characteristics of the sample population. The invention creates a common searchable index and anonymizes the sample members of the database via encryption of identification of individual customers in each sample. Each encryption provides for a strong encryption with a key and a homomorphic encryption. The homomorphic encryption allows for multiplication and/or addition on ciphertexts that, once decrypted, match the result that would have occurred had the operations been carried out on the plaintext. In some embodiments, the encryption may be either partially- or fully-homomorphic cryptosystems.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for a distributive network system with specialized data feeds associated with the distributive network for identifying total spend item level affinity for a customer and utilizing the data to provide target advertisement, providing stocking and supplying options for a merchant, and alternatively, for tracking merchant brand association impact. In this way, embodiments of the present invention identify and utilize total spend data for a customer, which includes the products and services a customer purchases within a time period. The invention identifies the customer transactions and subsequently can identify item level data and merchant level data for the transactions within the time period. From this data the system analyzes the total spend to identify loyalty based on merchant, product, or product category. This loyalty information is compiled across multiple customers and compiled for merchant feedback.
