摘要： The present invention relates to an aqueous coating composition comprising at least one binder (A) comprising at least one polymeric resin (A1), at least one pigment (B), and an aqueous dispersion of at least one thickener (C), where (C) is obtainable by a method comprising at least the steps (1), (2), (3), and (4), namely preparing a dispersion or solution of at least one polyurethane as a polymeric resin (C2) in at least one organic solvent (step (1)), preparing a mixture of the dispersion or solution obtained by step (1) and of a melt or solution of at least one polyamide as at least one polymeric resin (C1) having an acid number in a range from 1 to 200 mg of KOH per g of (C1) (step (2)), adding water to the mixture obtained by step (2) (step (3)), and removing the organic solvent from the mixture obtained by step (3), to give the aqueous dispersion of (C) (step (4)), to the use thereof for at least partly coating an optionally coated substrate with a basecoat film, to a coating method of this kind, and to a substrate coated accordingly.

摘要： A method is disclosed for producing a multicoat paint system on a metallic substrate by producing a basecoat or a plurality of directly successive basecoats directly on a metallic substrate coated with a cured electrocoat system, producing a clearcoat directly on the one or the topmost of the plurality of basecoats, and subsequently jointly curing the one or the plurality of basecoats and the clearcoat. At least one basecoat material used for producing the basecoats includes at least one predispersed mixture including at least one polyamide having an acid number of less than 20 mg KOH/g, at least one polymeric resin different from the polyamide, and also water and at least one organic solvent.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to an aqueous basecoat material including as binder, at least one aqueous, acrylate-based microgel dispersion (MD), and also at least one pigment paste including at least one color and/or effect pigment, and also as paste binder, at least one polymer of olefinically unsaturated monomers, where the polymer includes functional groups for nonionic stabilization of the polymer in water, and also functional groups selected from the group of silicon-containing, phosphorus-containing, and urea-containing groups, the aqueous basecoat material further including less than 0.5 wt %, based on its total weight, of synthetic phyllosilicates.
