Abstract:
The invention relates to a spontaneously crimping composite fibre of acrylonitrile polymers in which one of the fibre-forming component has a content of copolymerized esters up to 6% by weight and another fibre-forming component a content of copolymerized esters which is from 2 to 6% by weight higher whereby at least one of the fibre-forming components contains as copolymerized ester at least 2% by weight of isobutene-diacetate and the total quantity of the copolymerized esters in one fibreforming component does not exceed 12% by weight.
Abstract:
THIS INVENTION RELATES TO ACRYLONITRILE GRAFT POLYMERS HAVING AN IMPROVED AFFINITY TO ACID DYES. THE USED GRAFT SUBSTRATES CONSIST OF LINEAR POLYAMIDES CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE QUATERNIZED NITROGEN ATOM FOR EVERY TWO AMIDE GROUPS. THE GRAFT COPOLYMERS BEING PREPARED BY POLYMERIZING ACRYLONITRILE TOGETHER WITH OTHER COPOLYMERIZABLE MONOMERS IN AN AQUEOUS MEDIUM, SAID POLYMERIZING BEING AFFECTED IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LINEAR POLYAMIDE AS GRAFT SUBSTRATE AND IN THE PRESENCE OF A REDOX-CATALYST SYSTEM.
Abstract:
THE INVENTION RELATES TO AN ACRYLONITRILE GRAFT POLYMER HAVING IMPROVED AFFINITY FOR ACID DYES COMPRISING ACRYLONITRILE BEING GRAFT-POLYMERISED TOGETHER WITH OTHER ACRYLIC OR VINYL MONOMERS AND A LINEAR POLYETHER HAVING QUATERNISED NITROGEN ATOMS AS GRAFT BASE. THE GRAFT BASE HAS A MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF ABOUT 1,000 TO ABOUT 15,000 AND THE ACRYLONITRILE GRAFT POLYMER HAS A K-VALUE (ACCORDING TO FIKENTSHCER, CELLULOSE CHEMIE 13, (1932), PAGE 58) OF FROM 70 TO 100. IN THE PROCESS OF PREPARING SAID ACRYLONITRILE GRAFT POLYMER ACRYLONITRILE AND OTHER COPOLYMERISABLE COMONOMERS ARE GRAFT-POLYMERISED IN THE PRESENCE OF A GRAFT BASE CONSISTING OF A LINEAR POLYETHER HAVING QUATERNISED NITROGEN ATOMS.
Abstract:
This invention relates to synthetic fibres, threads and foils of polymer with permanent antistatic properties which contain 0.5 to 15 percent by weight of polyethers containing hydantoin rings. Polyethers containing hydantoin rings according to the invention are well compatible with the polymers and well resistant against washing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to polyetherurethanes which contain hydantoin rings and their use as antistatic agents for threads, fibers, foils and films produced from polymers. These polyetherurethanes which contain hydantoin rings are particularly noteworthy by combining the following advantages. The presence of the hydantoin rings gives them excellent compatibility with the polymers and in addition they impart to the polymers an antistatic property which is very resistant to washing. Another major advantage of these compounds is that they substantially improve the light fastness of the polymers, evidently due to the presence of the hydantoins.
Abstract:
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATED TO ACRYLONITRILE GRAFT POLYMERS CONTAINING AT LEAST 50% BY WEIGHT OF GRAFT POLYMERISED ACRYLONITRILE AND OPTIONALLY UP TO 10% BY WEIGHT OF ANOTHER GRAFT POLYMERISED ACRYLIC, METHACRYLIC, VINYL OR VINYLIDENE COMONOMER AND, AS GRAFT SUBSTRATE FROM 5 TO 40% BY WEIGHT OF A LINER POLYETHER CONTAINING TERTIARY NITROGEN ATOMS OR A DERIVATIVE THEREOF WHICH IS QUATERNIZED ON THE NITROGEN.
