    Abstract: The invention relates to a spontaneously crimping composite fibre of acrylonitrile polymers in which one of the fibre-forming component has a content of copolymerized esters up to 6% by weight and another fibre-forming component a content of copolymerized esters which is from 2 to 6% by weight higher whereby at least one of the fibre-forming components contains as copolymerized ester at least 2% by weight of isobutene-diacetate and the total quantity of the copolymerized esters in one fibreforming component does not exceed 12% by weight.
