摘要: A method of making carbon fiber material according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes forming a polymer resin to have a polydispersity index (PDI) that is less than approximately 2.5. The method further includes spinning the polymer resin to create an acrylic fiber having an acrylic fiber length. The method further includes oxidizing the acrylic fiber while stretching the acrylic fiber to create an oxidized fiber that has an oxidized fiber length that is at least one of greater than or equal to approximately 100 percent (100%) of the acrylic fiber length. The method further includes carbonizing the oxidized fiber to create a carbon fiber.

摘要: The invention relates to an improved process for forming a stabilised precursor that is suitable for the manufacture of carbon materials, such as carbon fibre. The process can convert a precursor comprising polyacrylonitrile into a stabilised precursor with greater efficiency. The invention also relates to a process for preparing a carbon fibre that utilises the stabilised precursor.

摘要: A method of producing a precursor fiber for carbon fiber includes extruding a polyacrylonitrile copolymer solution from a spinneret into the air, immersing it in a coagulation bath liquid stored in a coagulation bath, redirecting traveling of the coagulating fiber bundle by a first guide immersed in the coagulation bath disposed below the spinneret, and pulling it out of the coagulation bath liquid into the air to prepare a coagulated fiber bundle, which is then subjected to at least a washing step in water, stretching step, oil agent applying step, and drying step, wherein the depth-directional coagulation bath immersion length, which means a distance between the starting point of the immersion of the spinning dope solution in the coagulation bath liquid and the first guide immersed in the coagulation bath where traveling of the coagulating fiber bundle is redirected, is 3 to 40 cm.

摘要: Disclosed is a composite fiber including a substrate and a MXene disposed inside the substrate. The substrate contains a polymer and has a fiber shape. Since the MXene content is controlled to be in an optimum range, the mechanical properties, mechanical stability, and oxidation stability of the composite fiber are maximized.

摘要: A coagulated yarn, which is used to manufacture carbon fiber, is a coagulated yarn the surface hole diameter of which is 30 nm or less and the degree of swelling is less than 100% or a coagulated yarn the surface hole diameter of which is 30 nm or less and the inner hole diameter is 30 nm or less. The carbon fiber precursor fiber and the carbon fiber are obtained using such a coagulated yarn.

摘要: Described herein are nanofibers and methods for making porous carbon nanofibers. The pores have of any suitable size or shape. The presence and/or ordering of the pores results in a high surface area and/or high specific surface area. Such carbon is useful in a number of applications where high surface area carbon is desirable.

摘要: A process is described for the preparation of a homogeneous spinning solution for the production of acrylic or modacrylic fibers which comprises the following steps: i) preparation of an intimate mixture of a homopolymer or copolymer of acrylonitrile in powder form with a solid solvent in powder form, at a temperature lower than the melting point of the solid solvent; ii) gradually heating the intimate mixture of solids coming from step i) to a temperature ranging from 70° C. to 150° C. in a time ranging from 0.5 to 30 minutes, until the complete dissolution of the homopolymer or copolymer in the solvent and the formation of a homogeneous spinning solution. Said spinning solution is then fed to a storage tank or to the spinning line.
