    Abstract: For use in a fluid pressure braking system of the dual circuit type in which one circuit includes a spring applied fluid pressure released actuator, a valve device for controlling the actuator including a first valve member operable to supply fluid pressure from a source to the actuator to move the latter to a brake released position and effective to cut off such supply when the actuator has been released, and being operative to release fluid pressure from the actuator to graduate spring brake application thereof in accordance with fluid pressure supplied the other circuit, the valve device including a second valve member controlled by fluid pressure from said source for preventing operation of the first valve member so long as the fluid pressure is above a predetermined value.
