    Abstract: A display device and a display method. The display device includes an anti-peeping backlight module, a display panel and a regulator, the display panel being arranged on a light exit surface of the anti-peeping backlight module, and the anti-peeping backlight module being configured to emit an anti-peeping backlight; the display device has an anti-peeping OFF state and an anti-peeping ON state; wherein, in the anti-peeping OFF state, the regulator is configured to increase a divergence angle of the anti-peeping backlight so as to obtain divergent light; in the anti-peeping ON state, the regulator is configured to maintain the divergence angle of the anti-peeping backlight so as to obtain anti-peeping light. The display device and display method provided in this text can enable switching between normal display mode and an anti-peeping display mode to facilitate safe display of the display device.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display panel, a display device and a control method thereof. A display panel (10) includes: two oppositely-provided base substrates (101, 102); a plurality of liquid crystal regulation units (103) provided between the two base substrates; and a light shielding region (104) and a light transmitting region (105) located on a light emissive side of each of the liquid crystal regulation units, wherein each said liquid crystal regulation unit (103) includes a regulation electrode (31a) and a liquid crystal layer (31b), and the regulation electrode (31a) is used for controlling deflection of liquid crystals in the liquid crystal layer (31b), such that beams incident obliquely towards the light shielding region (104) are reflected by the liquid crystal layer corresponding to the light shielding region (104) to the light transmitting region (105).

    Abstract: A display device and a display method using the same are disclosed. The display device includes: a display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal prism arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a backlight source configured to emit a light which is incident onto the second substrate at an oblique angle; wherein the liquid crystal prism is configured to adjust a deflection angle of the light emitted from the backlight source traveling between the first substrate and the second substrate such that the light emitted from the backlight source is totally-reflected at a light exit face of the display device or exits from the light exit face of the display device.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a liquid crystal display panel, an operating method thereof, and a liquid crystal display device. A liquid crystal display panel comprises: A liquid crystal display panel comprising: a first substrate including light-shielding portions and light-transmitting portions; an electrode layer including a plurality of discrete electrodes; a liquid crystal layer; wherein the liquid crystal layer is adaptable to form an array of liquid crystal optical elements according to voltages of the electrodes, and wherein the voltages of the electrodes are configured such that the array of liquid crystal optical elements formed in the liquid crystal layer guides light to the light-shielding portions of the first substrate, to perform a dark-state (L0) display, wherein the light is incident onto the liquid crystal layer.
