The present invention relates to a polyolefin composition comprising (A) a polyolefin, (B) a compound comprising, preferably consisting of, the structural unit according to the following formula (I): wherein R is C or N; R1 is hydrogen, a heteroatom or a hydrocarbyl group which may contain heteroatoms; R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 independently are hydrogen, or a hydrocarbyl group which may contain heteroatoms; or at least two of said R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 together with the ring atoms of the ring system of formula (I) they are attached to, form a further aromatic or non-aromatic ring fused to the ring system of formula (I); also to a wire or cable, in particular a medium, high or extra high voltage cable, comprising such a composition, and to the use of such a composition for the production of a wire or cable, in particular a medium, high or extra high voltage cable.

The present invention relates to a polyolefin composition comprising a polyolefin (A), a fullerene composition (B) which comprises: a C60 fullerene or a C60 chemical derivative selected from the group consisting of methanofullerene derivatives, PCBM derivatives, ThCBM derivatives, Prato derivatives, Bingel derivatives, diazoline derivatives, azafulleroid derivatives, ketolactam derivatives, and Diels-Alder derivatives; or a C70 fullerene or a C70 chemical derivative selected from the group consisting of methanofullerene derivatives, PCBM derivatives, ThCBM derivatives, Prato derivatives, Bingel derivatives, diazoline derivatives, azafulleroid derivatives, ketolactam derivatives, and Diels-Alder derivatives; or a blend of fullerenes; a master batch, a cable, and uses thereof.
