Abstract: A medical device including a handle with a first arm operator and a second arm operator, and a cap. The cap includes a body having a central lumen about a central longitudinal axis, a first arm hingeably coupled to the body and operably coupled to the first arm operator by a first wire, and a second arm hingeably coupled to the body and operably coupled to the second arm operator by a second wire. The first arm operator is moveable in the handle to move the first arm between a closed position with the first arm generally parallel to the central longitudinal axis and an open position with the first arm generally perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis. The second arm operator is moveable in the handle to move the second arm between a closed position and an open position.

Abstract: A medical device handle may include an actuator; a first pulley; and a second pulley. The second pulley may be movable relative to the first pulley along an axis extending between a first axle of the first pulley and a second axle of the second pulley. A pull member may be wrapped around the first pulley and the second pulley, and coupled to the actuator and a control member may be coupled to the second pulley. Movement of the second pulley along the axis may be configured to move the control member in a direction parallel to or coaxial with the axis.

Abstract: A device for tube management includes a base. The base includes a structure configured to transition the device between an extended configuration and a coiled configuration upon receiving an application of a force to the device. The device also includes a coating applied to the base. In the extended configuration, the device includes a channel configured to receive a tube. In the coiled configuration, the device is configured to circumferentially surround a medical device shaft to removably couple the tube to the medical device shaft.

Abstract: A clip includes first and second jaws, first and second hinges, and a connection portion. Each of the jaws extends along a curve from a first end to a second end. The first hinge connects the first ends and the second hinge connects the second ends so that the jaws are movable between at open configuration, in which the jaws are separated from one another, and a closed configuration, in which the jaws are drawn toward one another to grip tissue therebetween. The first and/or second hinges is/are biased to draw the clip toward the closed configuration. The portion connects an end of each of the hinges to a corresponding one of the first and second ends. The connecting includes an engaging feature engaging via a through-the scope device to extract the clip from a tissue over which it has been clipped upon a deployment thereof.

Abstract: A system includes Adapter, Clip, Member, Wire and Mechanism. Adapter includes a proximal portion mounted over a distal end of an insertion device and a distal portion extending distally from the proximal portion. Clip includes Jaws to move between insertion configuration, in which Jaws extend about Adapter and are separated to receive tissue, and initial configuration, in which Clip is moved distally off of Adapter so that Jaws grip tissue. Member is releasably coupled to Clip and movably connected to Adapter. Member extends from a proximal portion to remain, in an operative configuration, outside body to a distal portion to be coupled to the distal end. Wire is received within Member and extends to a distal end releasably coupled to Clip via Link when predetermined force is applied. Mechanism selectively locks the distal portion of Member against proximal movement relative to Adapter during release of Link.

Abstract: A coupling device for a medical system includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion includes a main body and a connector. The main body has a device receiving portion that includes a first slot and an opening. A portion of the opening includes an internal threading. The connector extends from the main body and is configured to couple a first medical device to the first portion. The second portion includes a second slot configured to receive a portion of a second medical device. The second portion includes a threaded portion. The first portion and the second portion are removably couplable by coupling the threaded portion of the second portion to the internal threading of the first portion to removably couple the second medical device to the first medical device.
