Abstract: A medical device for resecting a tissue. The medical device includes an elongate shaft having a distal end, a proximal end, and a plurality of channels extending therebetween. The medical device also includes a cap assembly disposed at the distal end of the elongate shaft. The cap assembly includes a housing having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a cavity extending therebetween. The housing is configured to be transparent and includes a friction surface pattern disposed over a portion of an outer surface of the housing. The cap assembly further includes one or more ligation bands disposed on the proximal portion of the housing. The cap assembly also includes a wire interwoven between the ligation bands. The wire is further configured to roll at least one ligation band at a time towards the distal end of the distal portion.

Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a medical device for deploying a ligation band may include a tubular body. The tubular body may include a proximal end, a distal end, a radially inner surface defining a lumen through the tubular body, and a radially outer surface. The radially outer surface may include protrusions arranged in rows extending at least partially around a proximal region of the radially outer surface. Protrusions in adjacent rows may be separated by a first distance. Surface features may extend at least partially around a distal region of the radially outer surface. Adjacent surface features may be separated by a second distance larger than the first distance.

Abstract: A securement structure is positioned inside a channel of a first medical device to facilitate securement of the first medical device to a second medical device. Abstract: An actuation line is positioned external to the support structure lumen of a medical device. The medical device, which may be a ligation banding cap assembly, may comprise a support structure having a support structure lumen therethrough, an external channel on the outer surface of the support structure, and an actuation line positioned at least in part in the external channel. The external channel may be defined by raised ridges on either side of the external channel. The external channel may be recessed in the outer surface of the support structure. When the medical device is attached to a second elongated medical device, the actuation line is external to the support structure lumen of the medical device and the second elongated medical device.
