Abstract: A medical device may comprise a handle, including a main body and an actuator. The main body may include a first portion and a second portion. The main body may have an open configuration and a closed configuration. The actuator may include a first portion and a second portion. The actuator may have an open configuration and a closed configuration. The actuator may translate relative to the main body in the closed configurations of the main body and the actuator.

Abstract: An ostomy device includes a pouch, a bag, and a securing mechanism. The pouch extends from a proximal end attachable to skin surrounding a stoma exit of a patient to a distal end. The pouch includes an outlet accessible to the patient. The bag is housed within the pouch and extends from a proximal end interfacing with the exit to a distal end. The bag includes separatable sections. The mechanism secures, relative to the pouch, remaining sections that are proximal of a distal-most section. The bag is configured so that, when the distal-most section is filled with waste from the exit, the distal-most section may be detached from the remaining sections and a distal-most one of the remaining sections is securable by the mechanism relative to the pouch in a position to interface with the exit to receive further waste from the exit.

Abstract: A biopsy cap may be operatively connected to a port of a medical device. The biopsy cap seals a working channel that is configured to allow the passing of different diameter devices. During endoscopy procedures, the tip of many devices, such as guidewires and catheters, may be wetted before use to avoid excessive dragging forces when inserting such devices through the working channel of the endoscope. A cap system comprising a cap for a port of a first medical device; and a wetting device configured to couple to a portion of the cap and wet a second medical device passing through the cap system.
