    Abstract: A wearable disposable covering of heat shrink film and, more particularly, a covering for a hand or foot. It can be placed over a shoe or directly onto the foot of a wearer and is usable as a disposable bowling shoe with the covering having a first part thereof defining a sole when placed on a foot and a second part thereof shaped to fit over the top of the foot and around the heel and the covering being of a size to loosely fit onto the foot and then be tightly drawn onto the foot by application of heat to the covering.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a pin bottom for use in combination with a bowling pin which has a central reduced shank at its butt end formed by an undercut at the juncture of the bottom surface and side surface of the pin, with the undercut forming a downwardly facing annular groove. The pin bottom comprises a flexible upper base member which embraces the shank and is positioned entirely at the uppermost areas of the groove and bonded thereto. A wear-resistant lower base member extends at its upper end into the groove and terminates at its lower end in a shoulder which defines a continuation of the bottom and side surfaces of the bowling pin. The two base members are mechanically interlocked to form the pin bottom and to releasably secure the lower base member on the bowling pin.

    Abstract: Apparatus for coating a body with a variable depth coating by means disposed externally of the body. In one form, the means comprises means for delivering a nonuniform cloud of coating particles to the body for deposit thereon to define a preselected nonuniform coating. In another form, the means comprises means for providing a uniform cloud of coating particles to the body and means for removing at least a portion of the deposited particles. The removing means comprises in one form means for blowing off deposited particles and in another form means for brushing off deposited particles. Electrostatic means may be employed for releasably retaining the deposited particles.
