A self-cleaning plasticizing venting and extruding apparatus by co-rotating non-twin multi-screws and a method thereof are provided, said apparatus comprises a screw mechanism, barrel, feeding port, venting port, discharging port, and driving mechanism. Said screw mechanism comprises non-uniform central screw and lateral screws, the axis of the central screw coincides with the barrel, and the lateral screws are provided on both sides of the central screw and engaged with the central screw; the contour lines of the threads of said central screw and said lateral screws are tangent to the inner wall of the barrel; and said driving mechanism is connected to the central screw and lateral screws. Each screw-uses an asymmetrical flow channel shape, so the flow space is asymmetric, and the compounding intensity and effectiveness enhanced. The dispersion and mixing effects are excellent, generating a self-cleaning effect. The system is suitable for high yield nano-material processing.

The noise power spectrum for each frame of an audio signal is dynamically estimated based on a plurality of signal power spectrum values computed from a corresponding plurality of adjacent frames. An over-subtraction factor is then dynamically computed for each frame based on the noise power spectrum estimated for the frame. The signal power spectrum of the audio signal at each frame is then reduced in accordance with the over-subtraction factor computed for the corresponding frame.

The present invention pertains to a method and system for generating a sinusoidal signal as a combination of independently generated sinusoidal signals. A sinusoidal signal consisting of M data points per cycle is generated as a combination of P independently generated sinusoidal signals each consisting of M/P data points per cycle. Each independently generated sinusoidal signal is offset by P-1 data points and interleaved according to a prescribed sequence to represent the combined sinusoidal signal. The system of the present invention utilizes a processing unit having the capability of performing a single instruction on multiple data (SIMD) thereby executing multiple operations per cycle. This architecture enables each data point of the P independently generated sinusoidal signals to be generated simultaneously thereby decreasing the computational expense required to generate the sinusoidal signal.
