    摘要: A control system for use with a motor is disclosed. The control system may have a controller that is configured to receive a torque command for the motor and receive a rotor angular velocity signal indicative of an angular velocity of a rotor of the motor. The controller may also be configured to generate a field weakening command by adding a field weakening adjustment signal to the rotor angular velocity signal, and generate a torque voltage command and a flux voltage command based on the torque command and the field weakening command. Further, the controller may be configured to convert the torque voltage command and the flux voltage command into phase voltage commands and output the phase voltage commands.

    摘要: A multi-mode hybrid drive train offers selective operation in any one of series, parallel, and power split modes. The multi-mode hybrid drive train includes two planetary gear sets and a collection of specifically placed brakes and clutches relative to those gear sets. The first planetary gear train includes a power input for receiving power from a primary rotational power source, as well as a first sun gear, first carrier and first ring gear. The second planetary gear train similarly includes a power input as well as a second sun gear, a second carrier connected to a final drive, and a second ring gear. A first motor is linked to the first sun gear and a second motor is linked to the second sun gear such that selective activation of the clutches, brakes, and motors places the multi-mode hybrid drive train in a selected mode of operation.

    摘要: An improved system and method for starting an engine of an electric drive machine is disclosed. The method includes supplying electric current from a first energy storage device to inductive windings of a propulsion motor. The method also includes accumulating energy in the inductive windings of the propulsion motor based on a magnetic field created when the supplied electric current flows through the inductive windings. Electrical energy is generated by regulating a first plurality of switches associated with a first inverter to cause a collapse of the accumulated energy in the inductive windings. Such electrical energy is stored in an energy storage device. A controller regulates a second plurality of switches associated with a second inverter to cause a release of the stored electrical energy. The released electrical energy is supplied to a generator to start the engine.
