    摘要: A display-driving apparatus for driving a display panel having at least two display areas is provided. The apparatus includes a storage device configured to receive and store a group of source data signals corresponding to a frame of image. The apparatus further includes a demultiplexer configured to split the group of source data signals into at least two sub-groups of data signals. Additionally, the apparatus includes a converter configured to convert a signal format of a respective one of the at least two sub-groups of data signals to a displayable format corresponding to the display panel. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a controller configured to transfer the at least two sub-groups of data signals in the displayable format to respective at least two display areas of the display panel to display a frame of image.

    摘要: The present application discloses a display optimization method. The method includes setting a light-emitting substrate including a first plurality of unit regions. Each unit region is associated with a luminance produced by one or more light-emitting diodes. The method further includes determining a sensitive area having a second plurality of unit regions in part of the light-emitting substrate in association with eyeball position of viewer relative to the light-emitting substrate and a non-sensitive area having a plurality of combined-regions in remaining part of the light-emitting substrate. Additionally, the method includes transferring local variables including information about the sensitive area and the combining factor k to a processor. Furthermore, the method includes operating the processor based on the local variables to individually control a first luminance of the one unit region in the sensitive area and to commonly control a second luminance of one combined-region in the non-sensitive area.

    摘要: The present application discloses a method for processing image data with enhanced grayscale level for a display panel. The method includes receiving image data with a maximum grayscale level up to (M+N)-bit. The method further includes dividing the image data of the (M+N)-bit to a first set of data including low-order part up to M-bit and a second set of data including high-order part up to N-bit. Additionally, the method includes reconstructing multiple sets of new image data up to N-bit based on the first set of data and the second set of data. Furthermore, the method includes forwarding the multiple sets of new image data to the driver circuit respectively in multiple divisional time periods and driving the display panel to display image using the multiple sets of new image data.
