摘要： Provided is a spring lock mechanism including: a lock drum (11) provided on either one of a first member (20) and a second member (20); a coil spring (12) secured to the other member, abutting on the lock drum (11), and locking turning of the second member (30) in one direction relative to the first member (20) due to a frictional force; and a switching mechanism causing the second member (30) to turn relative to the first member (20) to switch a state in which the locking has been established and a state in which the locking has been released and held, in which the coil spring (12) abuts on an inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11), the diameter of the coil spring (12) increases through compression of a spring wire material of the coil spring (12) in a longitudinal direction caused by the turning of the second member (20), the coil spring thus further presses the inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11) and locks the turning due to the frictional force, and the switching mechanism accompanies an operation of extending or shortening a length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been released relative to the length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been established.

摘要： A head rest is provided that can secure backward view when it is not used, and enable adjustment of its front-and-rear position in use. A head rest is rotatable from a rearmost position to a stored position in which the head rest is tilted down forward. When the head rest is in a use range from the rearmost position to a forward adjustment limit position located in front, the tilting angle of the head rest is adjustable with in-use tilting-angle adjustment means, and the head rest can be rotated forward to the stored position and rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means. By contrast, when the head rest is in the stored position, forward rotation and backward rotation of the head rest are regulated with storage backward rotation regulating means, and the head rest can be rotated backward to the rearmost position with unlock means.

摘要： A headrest with a lock urging member in which unintentional change in an urging direction will hardly occur is provided. The headrest includes a first member, a second member, a backward urging member, a lock plate, a lock urging member, a lock switching member, and a resistance member. The lock switching member is provided with a switching pin abutment portion A, a switching pin abutment portion B, and a switching cam abutment portion. The lock plate includes a switching cam abutted portion. In a lock adjustment range, the lock switching member is moved together with the second member by the resistance member configured to apply resistance to movement of the lock switching member with respect to the second member. In addition, in rotation further forward beyond a forward adjustment limit position, the switching abutment portion B abuts against the switching pin fixed to the first member, so that the lock switching member does not follow the second member, whereby the headrest is unlocked.
