    摘要: A vehicle transmission includes a housing part, a shaft extending from the housing part, and a spring element having a plurality of spring windings wound around the shaft, a first end of the spring element being fixed to the housing part. An actuating means is attached to a second end of the spring element and is configured to twist the second end in a circumferential direction of the spring element to thereby cause the spring element to tighten and frictionally contact an outer circumference of the shaft. The spring element is comprised of a hollow cylindrical metal base body having a helical-shaped incision that defines the plurality of spring windings. The incision may be formed in the hollow cylindrical base body by a plasma beam process, by a laser cutting process, by a flame cutting process or by a water jet cutting process.

The tool has a rear handle for operation of the tool apparatus, a drive device for driving of the machining tool around an axis of rotation, a band brake with a brake drum and a brake band that wraps around the brake drum, and an operating device with a brake switch for the actuation of the band brake. The brake switch is connected by a transmission device with a first end of the brake band. A rotationally mounted compensator device includes a rotationally mounted lever connected with the transmission device and a spring element, where the compensator device is interposed between the transmission device and the brake switch. The spring element is connected on a first end with the brake switch and is in contact on a second end under bias with the lever.

The tool includes a rear handle for operating the tool apparatus, a drive device for driving the machining tool about an axis of rotation, a belt brake including a brake drum and a brake belt which is wrapped around the brake drum, and an operating device including a gas switch for activation of the drive device and a safety switch for unlocking the gas switch.     摘要: The invention is directed to an arrangement for actuating a braking device for bringing a motor-driven work tool of a work apparatus to standstill. The braking device is actuated by a brake lever and the brake lever is connected to a pivotably journalled throttle lever via a first actuator. The throttle lever controls the carburetor of the engine driving the work apparatus via a second actuator. In order to bring the work tool rapidly to standstill in idle, the second actuator is attached to a drag lever which is pivotable relative to the throttle lever. After passing through an idle movement path, the throtle lever takes the drag lever along via a follower in a pivot direction.

    摘要: This invention relates to a clutch device for a transmission wheel and a transmission shaft. Two brake rings surround a hub axle and are contained in a brake hub. The first brake ring is intermediate the hub axle and the second brake ring and arranged so that, due to a time differential of braking by an external force on the two brake rings, a bevel canal in the first brake ring braces against a loose pin inserted in the hub axle, forcing the loose pin to part from the transmission wheel. This achieves the purpose of separating the transmission wheel and the transmission shaft in order to instantly stop the work done by the transmission shaft, and is particularly effective with common machine tools. It may be used with a magnetic solenoid or a manual trigger control, pre-regulating the bolts for the slackness and tightness of brake linings, to successive action with a proper time differential. Using the magnetic solenoid manual trigger as the brake control, the effect of separating the wheel and shaft is achieved by braking.

    摘要: A double-acting brake assembly comprising a drum mounted on a rotary shaft, a brake band with looped ends surrounding the drum, and actuator means to displace ends of the band toward one another, is provided with a mounting bracket having spaced reaction surfaces which cooperate with the ends of the band to permit the band to wrap onto the drum for braking the drum when rotating in either the clockwise or counterclockwise directions. The reaction surfaces extend widthwise of the band adjacent the periphery of the drum, and a pair of guide surfaces extend alongside the ends of the band for aligning the band axially of the drum. In one embodiment, the bracket has an L-shaped crosssection with a flange overlying the drum and the reaction and guide surfaces are provided by the edges of an aperture in the flange. Other forms of brackets, including a bracket combined with a dust cover, are also disclosed. A preferred form of actuator includes a flexible sheath and cable assembly having one end connected to an operating lever and the other end connected to the ends of the band. The actuator draws the looped ends of the band together to engage the band with the drum, but allows lost motion between the end loops and the reaction surfaces of the mounting bracket. The end loops are free to move against either reaction surface, so that no matter which direction the drum is rotating, it will be the end loop at the leading end of the band which engages a reaction surface, and the trailing end of the band will in every case be free to wrap about the drum to provide a servo or self-energizing braking action. This will provide self-energizing braking on both forward and reverse rotation of the drum.
