    摘要: An omni-wheel may include a shaft, a plurality of rollers, and a braking device. The plurality of rollers may be circumferentially arranged about the shaft and arranged radially outward from the shaft. The braking device may include an at least one flexible clutch member, an at least one brake pad, and an actuator. The at least one flexible clutch member may have an outer diameter arranged about the shaft. The at least one brake pad may be arranged on the outer diameter of the at least one flexible clutch member. The actuator may be arranged to axially displace the at least one flexible clutch member. The at least one flexible clutch member may expand radially outward when axially displaced by the actuator, which may displace the at least one brake pad arranged on the outer diameter of the at least one flexible clutch member radially outward to contact at least one of the plurality of rollers, preventing rotation of the roller.

    摘要: Braking systems and methods are provided for a drum winch system having a winch drum having an outer surface and a winch drum braking system. The winch drum braking system has a first brake having a first brake lining, located adjacent to the winch drum, and a first three-ring ratchet linkage system connected to the first brake lining. The first three-ring ratchet linkage system is rotatable and adapted to move the first brake lining to a first position or a second position with respect to the outer surface of the winch drum. In the first position, the first brake lining contacts the outer surface of the winch drum to apply break force thereon, and, in the second position, the first brake lining is separated from the winch drum.

    摘要: A brake unit for a bicycle pivotably attached to brake brackets each having a support shaft (12a) projecting sideways and a radial seat surface formed in a proximal region of the support shaft. The brake unit comprises brake calipers (4) each including a boss (4a) having a boss bore for receiving the support shaft, a first end surface (4b) extending radially, and a second end surface (4c) disposed axially opposite from the first end surface. Each brake caliper is secured to the support shaft by a stud bolt (14) having a contact surface (15a) extending radially. A bush (13) is mounted between an inner peripheral surface of the boss bore and an outer peripheral surface of the support shaft. The first end surface of the brake caliper and the radial seat surface inhibit the brake caliper from moving in one axial direction. The contact surface of the stud bolt and the second end surface inhibit the brake caliper from moving in the other axial direction.
