Abstract: A dual drive gear of an actuation assembly for a transfer case includes an annular disk, a dual drive gear hub, and a sense plate. The annular disk has an inner periphery and an outer periphery. The outer periphery defines a plurality of teeth projecting radially outward. The dual drive gear hub is attached to the inner periphery of the annular disk and has an inner surface that defines a bore extending through a center of the dual drive gear. The dual drive gear hub includes a pair of curved walls projecting from a first axial end face of the annular disk. The sense plate projects from a second axial end face of the annular disk opposite of the first axial end face and includes a plurality of curved wall sections. The annular disk, the dual drive gear hub, and the sense plate are formed together as a single piece.

Abstract: A drive module assembly includes a housing defining a housing interior for containing a lubricant. The housing interior has a first interior side adjacent a first housing wall of the housing and a second interior side spaced from the first interior side and adjacent a second housing wall of the housing. The drive module assembly also includes an input shaft extending along an input axis and coupled to the housing and configured to receive rotational torque from a power source, a gear train rotatably coupled to the input shaft, and an output shaft rotatably coupled to the gear train. The drive module assembly further includes an oil housing disposed in the housing interior between the first housing wall and the second housing wall. The oil housing defines an oil housing interior that is configured to retain a portion of the lubricant.

Lubricant in the lubricant pathway that has been discharged from the outlet of the fluid feed conduit travels in a predetermined axial direction along the rotary axis of the shaft when the shaft rotates about the rotary axis in a predetermined rotational direction.

Abstract: A vehicle driveline component having a housing, first and second shafts supported by the housing for rotation about a rotary axis, a two-speed transmission in a power transmission path between the first and second shafts, a shift fork and a failsafe spring. The two-speed transmission has a movable member that is movable along the rotary axis between a high-speed position, in which the two-speed transmission operates in a first gear ratio, and a low-speed position in which the two-speed transmission operates in a second gear ratio that provides a higher speed reduction between the first and second shafts than the first gear ratio. The shift fork is coupled to the movable member for movement therewith along the rotary axis. The failsafe spring is disposed coaxially about the rotary axis and biases the movable member toward the high-speed position.
