    摘要: A fuel transfer and conditioning unit for an automotive vehicle includes a reservoir with a generally cylindrical filter element and a pump module contained within the reservoir and extending within the filter element. A combination valve prevents forward flow of fuel through the pump module unless the filter element is installed within the reservoir and also prevents reverse flow of fuel from the engine in the event the filter element is removed for maintenance.

    摘要: A fuel system for a diesel engine has both a low pressure pump, which extracts fuel from the fuel tank, and a high pressure pump, which is fed by the low pressure pump and supplies fuel to fuel injectors. The fuel injectors supply fuel to the engine cylinders, with a small portion of fuel routed back into the fuel system. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the injector return fuel is routed into a low pressure fuel line between the low and high pressure fuel pumps, with return fuel from the fuel rails returned through a fuel cooler to the fuel tank. The low pressure fuel line has a filter disposed therein and the injector return fuel is returned to the low pressure fuel line upstream of the filter.

    摘要: A method, computer program product, and data processing system for establishing high-availability of network resources through automatic failover, while cooperating with existing telecommunications equipment management and other systems is disclosed. Events are filtered through a series of software modules, each having a particular role to play with respect to the event. External systems may register with a “Notification Dispatcher” module, included within the series of modules, to receive notifications when particular events occur. In this way, conflicts between the high-availability system and other systems are avoided through well-defined sharing of information and delegation of responsibilities. Other modules may include “Resource Agents” and a “Resource Agent Adapter” for performing monitoring and control functions with respect to individual resources through a unified interface, a “Node Failover Manager” for actually performing an automatic failover, and a “Failover Rules Engine” for intelligently deciding when a given resource should experience a failover.
