摘要: A sonic drill head comprising an outer housing, an isolation system, a sine generator and a spindle. The sine generator generates a linear sinusoidal vibration force through the rotation of a plurality of eccentric masses. The sine generator is configured to translate the linear sinusoidal force to the spindle in a direction corresponding to the spindle's axis of rotation. The sine generator supports the spindle within the housing such that the spindle is free to rotate about the spindle axis. The spindle is generally a hollow tube section thereby allowing the passage of drilling fluid, mud, cuttings, and/or tooling. The isolation system generally reduces the transfer of the vibration force generated by the sine generator to the outer housing, yet is able to transfer an applied thrust force from the outer housing to the sine generator.

摘要: This invention is a method for incorporating light stabilizers into a polymeric material such as coatings, paints and plastics, which comprises the steps of applying a coating of a composition comprising a light stabilizer on the polymeric material and allowing the coating to remain in contact with the polymeric material for a time sufficient to cause the light stabilizer to diffuse into the polymeric material. No active heating of the polymeric substrate is required. Ambient conditions encountered in natural outdoor weathering will suffice to allow diffusion of stabilizers. Other additives affecting the aging or performance of the polymeric material can also be incorporated by this method.

摘要: A method and system for supply chain product and process development collaboration. The supply chain is comprised of at least one project, each project having a part (or family of parts), a supplier of the part, and a customer. The system may include a data storage and retrieval device operably connected to a processor. The system's functions include collaboration tools and security based on the users' project roles. The method uses a methodology that ensures certain requirements are met prior to satisfying the methodology. The system and method of the present invention ensures that current, applicable methodologies are applied to a specific part and allows for collaboration between the customer and supplier during all phases of the project. Because all projects in a supply chain are present, a user can navigate throughout the supply chain. The supply chain's reporting functions permit determination of potential performance risks and the source thereof.
