    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a casing having a front end and a rear end, a first tray, a first print engine, a second tray, a second print engine and a controller. The controller configured to perform: receiving first image data representing the first image and second image data representing the second image; executing a first process including a first conveying process and a first recording process; executing a second process including a second conveying process and a second recording process; determining whether an error has occurred in the second process; and in a case where the error has occurred in the second process, stopping the second process while continuing the first process.

    Abstract: A liquid ejecting device includes a plurality of liquid ejecting heads reciprocally movable in a main scanning direction and arrayed in the main scanning direction. Each of the plurality of liquid ejecting heads include a liquid ejecting portion configured to eject liquid. The plurality of liquid ejecting heads includes: a first endmost liquid ejecting head; and a second endmost liquid ejecting head. The first endmost liquid ejecting head constitutes one end in the main scanning direction of the plurality of liquid ejecting heads. The second endmost liquid ejecting head constitutes another end in the main scanning direction of the plurality of liquid ejecting heads. The liquid ejecting portion of at least one of the first endmost liquid ejecting head and the second endmost liquid ejecting head is disposed at a position deviated toward the remaining one of the first endmost liquid ejecting head and the second endmost liquid ejecting head.

    Abstract: A liquid discharging device including a liquid discharging head with nozzles, a carriage, and a controller is provided. When a position of the end of a sheet is on an inner side of an outmost contact part among a plurality of contact parts along a scanning direction, the controller determines discharging timings to discharge liquid from the nozzles based on first gap information, which is related to a gap between the sheet and the liquid discharging surface and is stored in a gap information storage. When the position of the end of the sheet is on the inner side of the outmost contact part, the controller determines the discharging timings based on the first gap information stored in the gap information storage and on second gap information generated in a gap information generating process.

    Abstract: A printer includes a head having nozzles, a carriage with the head mounted thereon, a carriage motor to move the carriage along a scanning direction, an encoder including a scale having reference marks formed thereon along a particular direction, and a sensor to detect the reference marks while moving relative to the scale along with movement of the carriage along the scanning direction, and a controller configured to perform liquid discharging to control the head to discharge liquid from the nozzles toward a recording medium while performing feedback control of the carriage motor based on velocity information such that the carriage moves at a target velocity along the scanning direction, the velocity information representing a carriage velocity based on detection results of the sensor, and interrupt the liquid discharging when the carriage velocity exceeds an overshoot threshold higher than the target velocity during the liquid discharging.

    Abstract: There is provided a liquid jetting apparatus including a conveyor, a liquid jet head, a carriage, a carriage moving device, and a controller. The controller carries out printing by repeating a scan-printing operation and a conveyance operation, and carries out a process of determining a jet-timing such that the jet-timing and a predetermined reference timing may deviate oppositely from each other between a print area on the upstream side and a print area on the downstream side along a scanning direction for the carriage to move in the scan-printing operation with respect to a predetermined reference position in the scanning direction, based on a value of a correction parameter. The correction parameter is set to the same value for nozzles included in an identical one of nozzle groups and to different values for the corresponding nozzles included in different ones of the nozzle groups.
