摘要: A communication system, includes a satellite receiver in operable communication with a central server, a cellular node configured to operate within a proximity of the satellite receiver, and at least one mobile communication device configured to communicate (i) with the cellular node, (ii) within the proximity of the satellite receiver, and (iii) using a transmission signal capable of causing interference to the satellite receiver. The satellite receiver is configured to detect a repeating portion of the transmission signal and determine a potential for interference from the at least one mobile communication device based on the detected repeating portion.

摘要: A method of modulating a series of input digital symbols of a first modulation scheme is provided. The method is implemented by a transmitter and includes receiving a sequential series of samples of the digital symbols in a first domain of the first modulation scheme. The first domain is one of the time domain and the frequency domain. The method further includes determining a dual of the first modulation scheme. The dual has a second modulation scheme in a second domain that is different from the first domain the second domain is the other of the time domain and the frequency domain. The method further includes applying a 90 degree rotational operation to the second modulation scheme to generate a rotational modulation format, modulating the series of digital symbols with the generated rotational modulation format, and outputting the modulated series of digital symbols to a receiver.

摘要: A resource allocation method is provided for a non-orthogonal multiple access distribution of access network users communicatively coupled to a single transport medium. The method includes steps of allocating a first frequency and time domain resource to a first user and a second frequency and time domain resource to a second user of the access network users, obtaining channel information regarding a particular communication channel of the access network for which resources are allocated, grouping the first user with the second user based on an overlap of the first frequency and time domain resource with the second frequency and time domain resource, and assigning the first user to a different power allocation resource than the second user within the frequency and time domain overlap.

摘要: A radio frequency (RF) beam transmission component having optical inputs and electrical outputs may include a wavelength selective switch (WSS) that has a plurality of optical WSS outputs. Each optical WSS output may be configured to transmit one or more wavelengths of the incoming optical signals. The RF beam transmission component may include a plurality of photodetectors (PD), each photodetector having an optical PD input coupled to one or more of said plurality of optical WSS outputs and a corresponding electrical output of a plurality of PD electrical outputs. The RF beam transmission component may further include a lens that has a plurality of electrical inputs and each electrical input may be electrically coupled to at least one of the plurality of electrical PD outputs. The lens may further have a plurality of electrical lens output ports.

摘要: A method is provided for calibrating a terminal device connected to a transmission line containing an impairment. The method includes steps of obtaining a sequence of frequency domain samples for a digital signal transmitted to the terminal device, determining a reflection coefficient from the obtained frequency domain sequence and a reflection signal arising from the impairment, converting the sequence of frequency domain samples and the frequency domain reflection signal into the time domain to generate a complex time domain sample sequence having a real I time component and an imaginary Q time component, correcting the time domain sample sequence into a corrected time sequence having a phase value of the Q component corresponding to a phase value of the I component, calculating a correcting spin coefficient from the corrected time sequence, and calibrating the terminal device with the correcting spin coefficient to mitigate a rotation of the reflection coefficient.
